after i upgraded to sonoma, my touchbar stopped working. I tried everything and nothing helped. I also upgraded to a newer sonoma version, the same problem.
me too ( Update: i tried some method which is go to settings and type touchbar and then click on customize touchbar and do this 2:11 and click done after that restart ur laptop and maybe it will work for u same with me )
@@binhdang4701 SAME! Have you found anything about it ? I am facing the same problem. It is working but the control strip display is off. I tried every possible way, but nothing worked out. I have notice one thing in the Activity Monitor Control Strip exists, but Touchar Bar server is missing.
@@waqaskhan1825 It definitely happened to me too. I was surprised that even customer service couldn't help.It doesn't work and it doesn't appear. Did you find a solution?
@@kyloki3512 do you think they killed its functionality on purpose to get pol to switch to newer nontouchbar macs? everyone eith a touchbar seem to he experiencing the same thing online right after upgrade. They probably fried it so they don't have to deal with its software maintenance going forward!

Facing same issue in Sonoma 14.6.1, any one else have fix?
have you upgraded to Sonoma ?? - is it still working. after the udpates i am on ventura and i am not udpated to sonoma :(
I had an issue at first where it was not on, but just restarted my MacBook and the Touch Bar is working as it should.
