(मराठी) Tracking the Black Panther in Pench - and finally spotting it!

When my friend Parag heard that I am going on a business trip to India, he called me up and mentioned the rare sighting of a black panther in Pench National Park. He offered to arrange a weekend trip to try and spot this elusive animal - the ghost of the forest. So we took this opportunity of a lifetime and with the help & organizational talent of Abhay Kewat, we finally managed to trace down and spot the BLACK PANTHER (or black leopard / melanistic leopard is it is often called as well). It was also great to see the large bengal tiger and a normal leopard, and to experience how local village people share their space / habitat with these wild animals.
I was deeply touched by this experience.

The Black Panther was at Khawasa Gate, Madhya Pradesh. The tigress (Baras) was in Maharashtra- but I forgot the gate name, sorry!
