Yes! They designed it so that the music will always time to that particular spell card. The spellcard before, if you realize the health bar, became a survival card where it lasts for how long it takes until the music comes to the climax. I find it so charming. They did this too for other midbosses but this fight with Miko takes the cake. I cant help but wonder how it will be for the full version of the game.
Heya! How do you have the permanently visible hitbox on your version of the demo? My Ichirin (and Marisa) hitbox indicator flickers off when bullets get close to it - makes stuff like Playtime's Over a nightmare. I thought it was a balancing decision to differentiate the other shots from Reimu, who doesn't have this issue, but apparently not. Is it an accessibility setting? Also, good plays lol, Ichirin really is one of the most fun shot types I've played in a 2hu-like shmup
I figured it out, it's a graphical glitch. Once I toggled the game to use my laptop's GPU instead of my CPU, I could finally see boss auras and my own hitbox...at the cost of the Stage 1 background going pitch black. Anyone know where I can report this bug?
