Instead of displaying the current Pset (as seen in our video) you can have the controller display the final torque of the last tightening. With the Graph version of the controller you have the option to display much more. Note that with the compact controller version ToolsTalk PF is required to program the Psets and jobs.
The PF 4002 C supports Open protocol serial, Open protocol Siemens 3964R serial, and Open protocol Ethernet. You could plug the PF unit directly into your PLC via those connections. For output from a PC you would have to save a report through ToolsTalk and have your PLC read from the report.
Have you changed your network configuration on your PC so that you are connecting to the IP of the controller? If you leave your IPv4 settings on Automatic, you will not be able to see the controller. You must set your IP to that of the controller.
Great video! Thanks for making it so fast!
Thank you, and you're welcome!
Once the job is finished, is there a setting where the final torque will stay displayed on the PF unit?
