My version in childhood also didn't have the actual OST, only the ambient noises and gun sounds. I much prefer it that way, recently got the remaster and turned the music off. This makes the atmosphere so much more desolate. Also railgunned some dudes who were online lmao, even with 300ms ping I still got it
@@retroshowcase I have an old voodoo 3, 16mb I think...i put it in an old Sony Viao that I haven't used in years...I sorta ruined the computer putting it in, cuz the stock graphics card was wired to the sound card for some reason, and I couldn't figure out how to bypass it, so now the puter has no sound =( Anyhow, you might still be able to find ones on Ebay all these years later, maybe even in the original box...I think theres huge stockpiles of unsold ones because tech was advancing fast and they soon got outdated, that and serious compatibility issues...most pc gamers would opt for a Geforce 2.
