Of all the videos I've watched on this subject yours is the best I'm going to use your idea to display my small paintings great idea affordable and convenient x
I was scouting for ideas to use for artist trading card displays for my group's art show. This is a perfect solution. Adjustable in size, easy to find materials and lightweight. Thank you for the idea!
Thanks for great idea! Went to Menards and bought 1/8 inch hardboard which we cut to 2 feet by 2 feet. I bought another type of channel which I cut with a hacksaw and then filed ends smooth. I found two tall easels at thrift store yesterday which support boards great. Anxious to use the display at our next craft show in April!
Awesome! Just what I was looking for! It is attractive and adjustable. I can custom make it to fit into my small metal stand. Best thing is that I have most of the items already on hand.
What?!?! This is SO GREAT. I got a giant metal book rack thing and it's great, but it takes up a LOT of space on my table because it's essentially a giant right-angled triangle. This is so much flatter and could give me more room for other things!! And I could customize the size so they fit into those storage cubes and I can have one in each cubby if I need to or...man. Really wish I'd done artist alley research BEFORE doing artist alleys. =>.>=
Making grid-cube-sized ones would be a great idea! You might need to work out a different method of getting them to stay upright, though, since most easel feet would fall through the grid, but I'm sure something could work :) I've actually got an old metal display thing I used to use at shows too, now it's at home on my bookshelf displaying some nice art books instead ;)
I really like this idea, will be making a couple of them. My only question is....how do they hold up in a little breeze. I do some outdoor art shows. How could I add some weight to it? Thanks for the great idea. Debbie
Did you end up weighting it? What method did you use because I was thinking of using this for my table too but all my shows have been outdoors and the wind really caused some trouble last time.
good idea but may I suggest that you stop waving the item around and stop using the word like every four seconds.it just made your video a little hard to watch
Love this. I made one for greeting cards and another for matted photography
I made one from foam board. It was lighter and easy to cut
Omg this is super helpful! so glad I stumbled on your video

Just use panel board instead of foam board. Strap a bungee cord from the binder clips to the back of your easel
Ty ty so much I have one coming up soon and need this :)
