Ich freue mich auf dich 😊
Never knew you could get such a beautiful sound out of a couple of RPGs!
Ive just had several loved ones die and this song made me cry..... Then I read your comment and burst out laughing with tears in my eyes. 🤣🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Bahahahah that's friggin awesome
I had no appreciation for the pipes until I heard them at a funeral in a cathedral. My soul was shaken to the core by their power. This video was just as awesome. Thanks.
Thanks 😊
You need to hear 1000 of them and 500 drummers in a steep Scottish glen at twilight .
At a Highland Games all the band who competed on the day get together in a huge space to play to an honourary chieftan of the day .
Every emotion you can experience goes through you .
Grussi aus Schottenland. Wir mussen diesen Mensch importieren. Ich hab sein Kilt bereit!
Ich komme 😂
Being a proud Scotsman I love the pipes in the cathedral would be amazing sound god bless merry Christmas from scotland
Thank you for the kind words. I wish you all the best.
The spielmann Akki greets you kindly 😊
I am a piper myself not bad these the drones lòok like a 40mm gun for an IFV .
😂😂😂
@@thecurlew7403 It's the Bofors dudelsack 😆
Happnin big man? Another fellow scot here and I am only watching this on ma phone and the heckles are up! Let's charge at the border ✊ 😆 ✊ lang may yer lumb reek
I love it that bagpipes in German is dudelsack.
Bagpipes on steroids.
Never seen or heard a rendition like that before. Made me tear up big-time. Absolutely beautiful.
my eyes....
so beautiful
RUclips gives you just what you need, just when you need it. Two years ago this time, I was riding high and enjoying life and loving my Family. Eighteen days later my beloved nephew took his own life. He was a beautiful man with a precious heart a former police officer who was injured in the line of duty and had to retire. He had a passion for the pipes. Tonight I'm listening and feeling his mischievous smile in my heart. God Bless and thank you.

I want to inspire and touch with my music. If I manage to make people think, that's a beautiful thing. But now I'm the one who is thoughtful and that's also something beautiful. We should all think about important things and think about the people we care about. Thank you for the kind words. It greets friendly The playman Akki.
@@akkiswerkstatt1150 you (meaning all of us) never know what others are going through and what is music to some on one day may be the only thing that keeps another person going. Your pipes Blessed me. Not many people touch the lives of others in that way. Thank you again. 🎼 🖤

Breathtakingly beautiful. I only wish I could have heard it live.
Thank you for the kind words 😊
Not a Scotsman...but admire the pipes...No Other sounds are like that from the Highlands...thanks for the show!
Thanks
@@akkiswerkstatt1150 seriously, that was truly unique and enlightening ..
Dankeschön wirklich
BRAVO!
Himmlisch! 🙏
Dankeschön 😊
i put out a small creche (nativity scene) every Christmas. One of my favorite pieces is a shepherd playing the bagpipes. My father, who was born in Germany, always referred to him as the 'dudelsack-pfeiffer', and we still call him that to this day.
The instrument he plays is a German "shepherd's pipe". This is also a German bagpipes 😉
@@akkiswerkstatt1150 Well, I learned something. I had always assumed that shepherd's pipes were either Pan pipes of a flute of some sort.
A hopeful sound for 2022. Thank you, Akki!
das ist sehr gut danke
One of the best interpretations of Amazing Grace I've ever heard. Bravo! Still shaking.. 😃
WOW...Blunderbuss pipes...cool!
Air and reeds! Reeds and air! Simple, basic, primitive...but evokes a familiar emotional stirring within the listener, no doubt encoded in the DNA.
Middle name Rutherford, and I shiver, shake, tremble, and sob when hearing the pipes. I keep a snow shovel around so me mates can shovel me up into a respectable posture!!!
@@WINCHANDLE LOL...you too? I actually prefer a bulldozer as I'm a couple of stone

Mega 👍🏻🍻
Pipes and organs -- a surprising good collaberation.
Was für eine unglaublich schöne Kirche. Faszinierend.
Wow, these pipes look great, they'd be right at home sticking out back of a cafe racer! Great sound
Dernière question : " Pouvez traduire Akki's Werkstaat " ?
Vous méritez d'être beaucoup plus connus.
Merci de votre patience.
Alain

This is the first time I have ever seen a set of Great Irish War Pipes. I am gobsmacked 🍀
Amazing Grace is so beautiful on the Pipes!
I bet it would have been awesome to have been there!
Complimenti ancora
.Dio benedica tutti.
Meraviglioso Brano e magica la cornamusa !
Thank you, amazing works, love from Canada 🇨🇦 !
Thank you for the kind words. It greets you The playman Akki 😊
Well dun boy. Bravo!🥲
Amazing Grace was written by John Newton, a former slave ship captain, who joined the clergy and became a vocal abolitionist after surviving an storm off the coast of Ireland that might easily have sunk his ship with all souls lost. Pipes and church organs have a way of saying things we really mean. This is the living sole of dignity and gratitude.
Thank you for the additional information, the more you know the better informed you are, 🙏 outstanding proformance.

Pipes and organ, not gonna lie I teared up watching this
Youre Beatiful end Excellent😊
Thanks 😊
Thats the first set of pipes that ive ever heard that were actually in tune. usually the drone is off by a few cents and it is its usual out of tune self but these are wonderfully in tune. Thanks!
Are you smoking crack ?
Very beautiful performance, you are doing a great job showing that bagpipes are not just a scottish invention but was used all over Europe. Thank you for sharing your story. God bless you and your family.
Thank you for the kind words. I greet you cordially.
Thank you.

BRAVO!!!(touches my heart so deeply)
Amazing sound, especially when teamed with the organ!
(Also, 'dudelsack' is the coolest name for an instrument. Much better than 'bagpipe')
This is a nice and funny comment 😉
It is a funny name, indeed. Btw. the name "Sackpfeife", directly translating "bagpipe" also has been around for centuries...
Is it pronounced
Dud-le sack or
Doodle sack
?
@@MrConsto Doodle sack (like noodle pack) is quite as good as it can get as an English approximation.
@@burkhardstackelberg1203 yes, but we can’t figure out how to pronounce it.
wow! Loved it! Thakns. ON another day would love to hear the same song , done the same way, and then the organ break out into a r
ock and roll solo!
So beautiful. Thank you
What a profile, strong hands, and stunningly handsome man playing the pipes.
Fantastic! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Lovely.
WOW!!!!!
What a great tune and words from scotland
Thank you for the kind words. The spielmann Akki greets you kindly 😉
The words are from an Englishman, John Newton. That tune is from an American Shape Note book.

Isso é bom, mas é uma gaita-de-foles alemã. Saudações O Spielmann Akki ☺️
Those are some sweet pipes. Always wanted a set. Go out to a hillside somewhere and commune with God.
Must sound so beautiful in this church
Wow, that's a bit different. Works well with the organ. Beautiful and evocative sound. Thanks for posting this. 🙂👍
Very happy 😊
Great to hear.
Thanks for uploading.
Scots instrument, German church, African American song. Pretty neat.
Gracias! Thank you!
Gracias por las amables palabras. 😊
Beautiful!
❤️❤️❤️
That long pipe looks almost as tall as me. Beautiful yet terrifying. Big strapping men.
💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I used to play 2nd flute in a concert band and we did a piece (I'm sorry, i can't remember its name) but it needed a lone piper entering the hall, playing with us, and then leaving the hall after we stopped playing. Truly amazingly beautiful thing.
"Amazing Grace" should be on every piper's 'no, I will not play that' list, much the same way guitar shoppes have 'No "Stairway"' signs.
awesome
Lovely sonorous tone on those pipes.
Krása 😉👍
Dudelsack is my new favorite word 😂
Nice playing btw
Wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I watched this video simply because of the awesomeness of the title.
The tone is very similar to the Uilleann pipes of Ireland.
Don't get me wrong. I love Highland pipes.
But I'm Irish so it's Uillieann pipes for me.
If you could play
"Oró, Sé Do Bheatha 'Bhaile"
on this wonderful instrument I might die with happiness.
(Or at least be very impressed with your skills as a musician) 😁
Love from the wee County in Ireland 🇮🇪
Incredible músic.I love to lisen it.
Das ist wunderbar!
Dankeschön 😊
🙏
I know it takes 6 weeks with a whip and a chair to tame an ordinary set of bagpipes - that set there looks like it would defeat a dragon!
Actually many countries other than Scotland had a tradition of bagpipes. Any country that had a population of Celtic people seem to have had them, including Spain.
Beautiful ! 👏
I love this song
Thank you, me too 😊
These extended drones sound perfect....
