I honestly dont respect any player who is against a sniper rifle in cod. Ive said this before but ill say it again, think about this scenario, if you were trying to create an AI bot that could replicate what a pro player does on screen, now take a pro playing BO3 and a pro playing the current cod as it is. The AI could replicate a current pro's playstyle easy but it would be much more difficult to replicate a pro playing BO3 because of the variety and complexity of the specialists etc. This is a fact that shows exactly why the opinions of boring point and shoot robots like Scrap are destryoing cod. The game caters to the weak minded now its just how it is, wait until scumbags start creating AI players to cheat in challengers and the game is so stale that its impossible to spot the difference.
Coaches had Faze as the second best team, it means they’re good in scrims not in matches. It happens that teams sometimes struggle to translate how good they are in scrims, that happened to optic last year but in this game with all the crazy movement if you’re not running single tap you’re in a huge disadvantage versus someone running it, specially at that level. What abezy is saying is that they were not running it during matches and he’s gonna start doing it moving forward cause everyone is doing it

Lets be honest here, Call of Duty (at its core) is NOT a straight up competitively minded game. the game has occasional random squad spawns even with this new system and its occurred for years on years. Activision does not make these games with competitive in mind. They desire for profit margins and casual player retention. Furthermore, CoD is probably the only mainstream FPS esport where there are different game modes other than Bomb Defusal/ SnD. Meanwhile other competitive esports only have ONE mode and thus have much more linear/ nondynamic gameplay at the pro level. I agree that GA's are stupid and shouldn't be a thing but its because the game is so uncompetitive at face value that GA's are created.
I keep saying this it’s the ONLY esports comp game where the pros dictate the rules or can push for changes.. the reason casual cod is suffering from standard MP/MP ranked is because the pros have a say look snipers became a problem in bo6 among the pros guess what activision does gets rid of snipers in ranked.. oh this gun is to strong..gets removed for everyone in casual online ranked to. You know what made bo2 ranked so good n so much fun the access to guns n scorestreaks n map rotations, the game modes were the same bar CTF being the mode as control didn’t exist then, team balancing was real and you could choose wether to run your 4 man squad as separate ranks or as a team rank. “Pub stomping” in ranked was a real thing dropping swarms or K9s while running any gun n attachments no one gun was meta when you had that range to pick from.. they 7 main guns were the 7 main guns in public too msmc, an94, scar, m8a1, skorpion, dsr, ballista yet you could still go use a target finder lsat or MMS FAL/SMR n wall bang kids 😂 but ppl barely did because the GAs back then were genuine agreements just between the pros on the scene n because they barely used them the casual player base did the same… I mean sometimes you need that win though so being a dick was needed 😂

i doubt theyre involved in the final decisions, they just voice their opinions everywhere they can in the hopes it will change for their personal benefit. At this point idk why pros that are speaking out about this stuff don’t just use stuff that are GA’d. I’ve never really followed the pro scene much. But I’ve followed a bit this year. Me personally the only reason why i watch CS is because of the sniper plays well and of course some of the storylines. But in cod the sniper plays are insane and to take them completely out when they’re not even all that overpowered is insane. Saying you takeover a map with a sniper is a crazy excuse cause that rarely happens

Literally played 3 games of search yesterday out of probably 20 games. Im D2 one game off D3. But thats definitely the most search ive played since ranked came out.

Zooma is right. AW was one of the greatest COD’s ever to watch.. they literally had mfer’s going invisible, dashing 20ft in the air with some of the most OP guns ever. Most of these pros was in kindergarten when call of duty was in its real prime days. They’ve been coddled the whole time they’ve been pros. They don’t care what the majority of people want to see cause they’ve never been a real fan. Just found out they was good at the game and that they could make money and just ran with it. My thoughts: I can't believe there's a "league" in this world where the rules and decisions are made by the players. We're talking about a group of highly talented (FPS-wise) but otherwise immature, undisciplined kids who have probably never had any higher education. It's unfair to everyone, including themselves, to expect them to organize anything. Scrap cries like a baby about how no one should be able to comment except the people playing for the prize money, but the kid doesn't realize that if it weren't for the fans, there wouldn't even be a league. CoD has given these guys way too much power, and decisions should be made top-down, not the other way around. The league should decide everything as far as I'm concerned-and purely based on what's more fun to watch. Simple as that. Then the pros can adjust accordingly. Hell, maybe it’d even be fun to change things every major. Just mix it up! I don’t know. But having followed the scene for a while now, I can't believe the lack of professionalism in this game. Blizzard is sitting on a gold mine, but they’re content to just cash in on skins... It’s going to dry out soon enough if they don’t take control. Just my 2 cents as someone in business who is 30+yo.

Nobody wants to watch these lame ass search maps anymore. I get it in mw3 cuz snipers were entirely too easy to use even without attachments but in this game, the snipers aren’t op at all. Also let any gun in the ARs and subs be allowed to be used unless completely broken like the Krig. It’ll be a better viewing experience if we get to see the pros adapting to meta changes just like the rest of us. Using the same 2 guns all of the games life cycle is boring af.

I think the CDL should put in the rules that one sniper is allowed in SND and then incentivize the player to use it by having a “best sniper play” at the minors and majors with a 5k$ prize for whoever had the best play with the sniper !!!
The pros bang on about how much better they are now compared to the old school days of the optic dynasty and col dynasty is something I can never take serious when they GA everything and limit the game to 2 guns, when back in the day so many guns where allowed to be used and i added more skill to the game having to worry about so many different styles of game play (im not saying the modernnplayers aren't better i just can't take the argument serious when they all run scared from a sniper or 2 being in play)
Man, Hacienda control sucks so bad. It takes all the flow that the hard point hasn’t just sucks the air out of it. The maps too fucking big for control.

Literally played 3 games of search yesterday out of probably 20 games. Im D2 one game off D3. But thats definitely the most search ive played since ranked came out.

SMG’s need more recoil. They are too easy to shoot at range for me to justify running an AR and losing mobility / close range most of the time.

Most of these pros was in kindergarten when call of duty was in its real prime days. They’ve been coddled the whole time they’ve been pros. They don’t care what the majority of people want to see cause they’ve never been a real fan. Just found out they was good at the game and that they could make money and just ran with it. Same why the game is starting to get so bad, the developers aren’t even fans of their own game.
Knifes should be in. No questions, why are we banning something that requires more skill? Lowering the skill gap to protect the fragile egos of the shittier teams - if you can’t deal with it, you’re not good enough to be in the league. Simple.
Make the GA’s a live show. Zooma could host it. Just the one member for each team.

My thoughts: I can't believe there's a "league" in this world where the rules and decisions are made by the players. We're talking about a group of highly talented (FPS-wise) but otherwise immature, undisciplined kids who have probably never had any higher education. It's unfair to everyone, including themselves, to expect them to organize anything.
Scrap cries like a baby about how no one should be able to comment except the people playing for the prize money, but the kid doesn't realize that if it weren't for the fans, there wouldn't even be a league.
CoD has given these guys way too much power, and decisions should be made top-down, not the other way around. The league should decide everything as far as I'm concerned-and purely based on what's more fun to watch. Simple as that. Then the pros can adjust accordingly. Hell, maybe it’d even be fun to change things every major. Just mix it up! I don’t know.
But having followed the scene for a while now, I can't believe the lack of professionalism in this game. Blizzard is sitting on a gold mine, but they’re content to just cash in on skins... It’s going to dry out soon enough if they don’t take control. Just my 2 cents as someone in business who is 30+yo.

Add auto tac. Pros complaining about their controllers breaking and their hands hurting all the time, well auto tac will help with that. I understand that it’s a skill gap but honestly you can get better movement with auto tac on and I think that’ll add a skill gap as well. Also they need snipers and smokes in snd. Nobody wants to watch these lame ass search maps anymore. I get it in mw3 cuz snipers were entirely too easy to use even without attachments but in this game, the snipers aren’t op at all. Also let any gun in the ARs and subs be allowed to be used unless completely broken like the Krig. It’ll be a better viewing experience if we get to see the pros adapting to meta changes just like the rest of us. Using the same 2 guns all of the games life cycle is boring af.
