you forgot about the $500 rgb strips and $500 custom design on the tempered glass, cmon Greg
Wouldn't pay shit for those stupid. Rgbs
If you are going for an rgb built, you would, if you are going for a low budget gaming build of course you wouldn't.
RGB is gay as fuck anyways lmao.
Non RGB is Asexual as fuck.

You are the Craigslist cop lmao
Definitely a video series name idea. "Craigslist Cop"
IAmLazy what we do here is go back
Tahts a bad idea because either Idubzz or his fanbase would make a fuss about it
Jonasz Przybycień should be Craigslist Authority
And if they make a fuss he could do a Craigslist Deputy
Love how people think used pc parts still worth close to full price.
Jaggsta Ikr same with cameras like a dslr thats releassed 4 years ago (its prob getting upgraded this year), dude says he bought it last year, and wants a firm hundred bucks less than new price
Only case I can think of is my 1080, I got it a launch but I could have sold it for more at the peak of the mining phase, also same with RAM I got 16GB 3200MHz DDR4 for £90 then prices went crazy and the same RAM is now double the price.
They surely know that it isnt worth it, they just wanna rip off someone because it works.
DSLRs keep their value very well, particularly Nikon and Canon cameras because they are professional tools. On top of that, a bottom-line DSLR from 10 years ago will still produce higher quality pictures than any point and shoot/cell phone camera that comes out today due to the better designed sensors and frankly massive lenses. If you can find one that's $100 less than the original MSRP, you've got a deal on your hands, even if it's old.
Rev limits You act like vtec doesn’t exist
He probably bought it overpriced at his local shop or something. It's possible
How much he seems to be lying about certain things probably not
@The Judgemental Cat Yes he is?
Is that hard to believe?
He just shows the price of the pc but what about the monitor and keyboard
Or he bought it prebulit then he upgraded it
he might be hedging his bets so when people make an offer its closer to the price it's worth rather than under its value
“Fully built”
Lol does he think people expect a half built Pc
Ik they ad for it like its a car or something lmao
The sticker on the window of the case adds $1,000 to the value
TheGamingToast don’t forget the rgb that adds 500 dollars to the overall price
The limited edition 4k 24" curved monitor is actually worth $47,000.
Totally not Woojin rgb also adds 50 horsepower, don't forget that
It's a sticker colab from yeezy supreme off white bape gucci and Louis Vuitton
Yufan Chen don’t forget rocket bunny because else it doesn’t add 100 hp
You're being too kind by saying that card is a 1080. Come on, when he doesn't give us the spec sheet, always assume it's the cheapest of the options that fit the physical size and power requirement.
Zeldagigafan by saying its a 1080, it just makes the guy look even more ridiculous as the best possible card still makes the total price $500 cheaper
He was trying to prove a point by giving him the benefit of the doubt. He knew if he put together a pc on pcpartpicker it would still come out much cheaper, thus proving his point.
It was a 1080 anyway so he did the right thing
Who puts a mini gpu card in a full sized atx case?
Doom2pro me, I have a zotac mini gtx 1080 inside my full tower corsair 760t
Thats the cheapest curved monitor in existence and its god awful
Jack Doe I had that monitor it’s not that bad it’s just bare bones
The King Gaming Basic as it gets build quality is like a toy. I am sorry but chepest ultrawide by LG beats it by far
why would you curve a 24" anyway?
Chuckiele look at the Samsung cfg73 and cfg70 24'. You'll change your mind.
Jack Doe and I don’t doubt that but what you pay for isn’t bad good brand and comes with warranty and you can bump it to 90hz
Craigslist? More like Gregslist, amirite?
Joe natoli haha that'd be sick. I like that its genuine consumer advice in the used market.
see yourself out please
For that price I'd expect an 8700k with a good aio (kraken X52 etc), a top end z370 mobo,32gb fast ddr4, nvme+SSD storage and a 1080ti and some decent cable management, not this amateur mess.
I think you would still have difficulty getting to his supposed price tag of $3200. I mean, maybe the guy is just a sucker, but that seems a less likely explanation than he's trying to rip someone off.
For that asking price you could get an RTX 2080ti and 2 1440p 144hz with g sync

"I brought a very powerful laptop that does the job"

These videos helped me sell my old Alienware pc for $450 after cleaning it out and presenting it well, thanks for teaching me your ways!
Nogghan I sold my 10 year old alienware for 400 granted it was basically new I imported from a guys warehouse who claims it to be a floor model.
Same for me I sold my old office pc from 2011 for a reasonable price
Yufan Chen this one had an i5 4440 1tb HD 8gb RAM and a GTX 645 ( a GTX 650 boost not "ti" basically) so I think I got a great price for it
Nogghan mine had x i7 930 oc to 4.0ghz and 12gb ram and I put in a r9 280x and watercooled cpu
I used to see PC ads like this all the time when I visited Craigslist, and I had the same mindset as you - "Your asking price is ridiculous! Only a stupid person would actually pay that!" Never really thought about making videos about it, but I'm glad to see that someone is out there pointing out these BS ads. Kudos Greg!
So if I go online and configure a brand new Tesla does that mean that I actually built a Tesla car? Hahaha
That mouse is an extremely cheap "gaming" mouse, that at most costs $20. I have one, except the LEDs are blue and it came in a Lexma LX6000 mouse/keyboard combo for $35.
Chris Ogloff lol it is extremely cheap and bad , I have it lol
It looks similar to what I used to own for less than $10 in my country
Awh hell yeah another I read ads vid, thank you for blessing my morning
First time buyers may not know what they are looking at is junk and think they are getting a good deal. You are helping them not get scammed. Need more people like you in the world.
You didn't include the rbg w/ remote! That's where the extra money comes in.
That's like $50 at most

These make up the bulk of listings in my area, literally most of them in the Columbus Ohio area. Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, FB computer groups, it's disgusting. Of course when you ask them about the price they instantly get defensive and try to insult you, lol.
I.O.
Robert H. Lmfaoo I'm from Columbus Ohio to! I get the same answers.
Yep I am from Middletown Ohio which is between Dayton and Cincinnati Ohio and people ask WAY TOO Much for the stuff they list. They ask as much or more then you can buy refurbished. I have never found a Good deal on CL or FB market place in this area on Computer parts or computers I have got deals on other stuff but not computers or computer parts
Robert you fool, I NOW KNOW YOUR LOCATION BWAHAHA
Wow there's some real scummy people out there in the pc community, worst part is someone will pay close to what he's asking thinking they're getting a good deal, if only we could tell that person they could save over $1000.
If there was someone willing to pay me to build their PC, I'd do it and only put a small amount on top for the time it takes.
Over charging like this is ludicrous.
Thanks again Greg - these are always interesting. Being on the flip side now trying to sell my old overkill HEDT rig I'm noticing that most people want to pay about 1/3 to 1/2 of the retail parts cost is. Of course used needs to have a sizable chunk of price taken off the new retail value, but some of these people are making me laugh with their offers.
When he says ”paperweight” it makes me think the computer is bricked and doesn't work! 🤣 What a scammer! He's probably flipping cheap systems to newb unsuspecting victims.
If I were someone interested in spending this much money on a prebuilt like this, I’d rather go directly through a vendor than deal with any potential BS.
I got a personal theory about the first one. Maybe he bought the prebuilt and added parts (gpu, cpu, etc) and added the cost of prebuilt PLUS the extra parts cost
yeah maybe he should explain that and list the parts and their original price so we can compare how much cheaper he is selling it. didn't give any info so it's sketchy.
You forgot to add the RGB strip lights with a remote controller to the list, RGB always bumps the price to 100%
Love this series bro! All tym favourite
Aniket Sakpal tym = thank you man?
Lmao this dude has the logo from my town!!!! Vienna IL xD he must live there
I love craigslist vids
It makes me happy how people in my area (southern NJ) arent trying scams on craigslist. Some dude is selling a IBuyPower Prebuilt with a 1080 and 7700k along with a 144hz monitor, flight sim gear, a keyboard, speakers and a dvd burner for $1600.
If anyone else is in Southern NJ and is interested ill give the link, or youll probably be able to find it through craigslist.
Do more!!!
Please do more!!
This is entertaining however people also need to be aware that pre-built desktop PCs are usually sold at a inflated price compared with custom building it on your own, even if you buy a second-hand pre-built. Their target market are not tech-savvy users but the ill informed consumer who have no idea how to build one or just can't be bothered to take their time building one.
In this case, the guy who advertise the PC build in the video is obviously somekind of scalper who bought a pre-built and is re-selling it as his/her own at a overly inflated price.
Hi
Mateo Landaverde YOU DO MORE!!
Greg pulled a opera with the hearts, u get a heart, u get heart, u get a heart, everyone gets a heart ❤
Say you want it and meet him at a coffee shop that's rarely busy. Ask to see it while your buddy Ryan knocks him out then you can get the system (without cables and monitor etc) for free!! Sleep like a baby.
The monitor is the CFG70 and is not 4K
Specs of this are the following:
• 144HZ
• 1 MS
• Quantum dot
• 1080P
i built something like this (i7 8700k, 240 aio, 16gb 3000mhz ram, gtx 1080 OC MSI ARMOR) for around £1300 with windows 10
Did he call a computer he claimed was worth $3200 a paper weight?
Paper weight is probably the most honest thing he said in the whole description.
Do not forget that the stuff he is selling are used and come with no warranty and you probably have to pay for shipping as well...
Dionisio Theodoropoulos who ships something on Craigslist?

Anyone wanna hear a spooky campfire story? A friend of mine bought an ibuypower prebuilt that came with... An fx4300 and gt730 *gasp*
James M *OH MY GOD!!!*
It better be below USD 300 without a monitor.. Sold an Optiplex 900 with core i5 2400, 16GB DDR3 and evga 1050 Ti 4gb last year for usd 300
That's actually like the best basic budget 1080p gaming machine you could get :D
And the noname power supply turned the house into a campfire?
but... How much did it cost? If it was £120, then that's a pretty good deal!

I bought a pre-built and made it better by adding new parts to it like the CPU, PSU, SSD and GPU
Basicly everything but the mob and ram
I love this. Keep exposing these dirtbags. It’s con artists like this that make legit sales harder.
Love these type of videos keep it up!
If you get a grey-market key, you have no right to complain when it shits out on you.
Didn't you know? He used solid platinum nuts and solid gold screws. The wires are sterling. And a lightsaber comes free as a bonus.
Lol.
New subscriber! Great videos.
What I hate about buying a used pre-built PC is that they could be financing it, so in a month or 2 your computer gets locked and starts demanding payments, happened to me , but i contacted the company that made the computer and was told that computer was reported stolen, he was arrested the next day for fraud, I swear people think they can get away with the dumbest shit.
you should call these people and make them an offer and then when they say why are you low balling me explain the cost of the whole system :)
Mendozer01 Well fuck you! You're even worse than they are.
Hitsu Bitsa Not really though. These cunts trying to rip people of are worse.

The hdd and ssd are in the power supply shroud. I bought one to resell and found the storage drives inside there. You can actually see the HDD in the bottom right hand corner @ 4:55.
i saw some one asking $2200 for a 3930k and a 750ti. and another asking $1200 for an old amd cpu and mobo stock cooler and no gpu.
And you turned those amazing deals down? Idiot.
Must be specially tuned then? xD
It’s like showing off their Honda Civic with all the mods asking close to $10 grand.
That definitely did not come like that from Cyber Power that's for sure.

You know I've seen someone actually sell a used part higher price than a new one. lol
I was on craigslist and I got a really good deal for a prebuilt pc. It has a Ryzen 1500X, 8GB DDR4 , GTX 1070 8GB Gigabyte Mini, 120GB SSD. All for 800 dollars which was a steal!
Make sure you dont get sued. Lol 😂
In a twist, someone called out my reasonably priced gtx 1060 6gb as way too high and said he would no way pay more than $80 for a used GPU. Said he bought a brand new for $170, so evidently a 3 month old used one should be less than 50% of that price.
You gotta call these people up and interrogate them
what people paid for electronics 1 to 2 years ago isn't what people pay for those same things today.
>Workstation PC
>Gaming CPU

I saw an ad on my local Craigslist for sli 1080ti and an 8700k custom watercool loop for 10000 dollars that’s insane
When you trigger Greg
The most annoying part about buying used pcs is when people refuse to listen when you explain that you can build a better system than what they have with a warranty for less than their asking price. And then they always come down some measly amount and act like they're doing you a favor
yes, people don't seem to get that your pc drops in value the moment you buy it, and the moment the next gen of tech comes out, (barring some exceptions)
i7 8086k ?
What about it?
instead of giving them a call about their PC, call them and ask if they are getting any calls about the PC 😂😂😂

The SSD is not visible because the samsung 960 evo is a M.2 drive. It goes in a completely different socket that is not visible from the angles he gave us. Just pointing that out as the explanation for the lack of SSD.
Well to be fair I put my rig into 8 different custom sites and the total on average came out to about $800-1000 more than buying the parts individually.
