Confieso que, en general no "escucho" musica, pongo un mix por ahi y lo escucho mientras hago cosas, no es como haya canciones que realmente me gusten salvo contadas excepciones, pero este album, este album me me encanta y no se por que, probe otras bandas de jazz y jazz fusion, tanto japonesas como no. y nada cuela y si lo hace esta lejos de lo que logra casioepa. Ponerme los audifonos , sentarme en el sillon, y no hacer nada mas que escuchar, me llena el corazon; lo es todo, desde el piano a la batería, pasando por los ritmos , aveces mas incongruentes, a veces mas ritmicos;Todo parece tan bien pensado que cuesta creer que exista. sueño con alguna vez encontrar otra banda/album que me genere lo que casiopea la primera vez, pero no pasa. y llevo +de 1 año intentandolo... Tal vez esto suene exagerado, y mas de uno pensara que me paso de romántico, pero solo puedo decir que es verdad. Gracias casiopea
That track is definitely God like. I just finished it as I read this comment and it felt like I was taken on a wild trip to me that solidified this group for me. I can understand why so many comments say that this is the best debut album they’ve ever heard.

"very few bands" Nah, a lot. There's loads of artists who can't escape the shadow of their debut. It's extremely common, which isn't always positive because they'll always get reminded by fans and critics of their former glories as opposed to their progression. Luckily though this band doesn't have a bad album under their belt. There's a reason the "sophomore slump" is a phrase that exists, lots of artist refine their debut for a long time, and their second offering/later ones are made with less time and higher anticipation, more room for disappointment

Found this from a random radio station in Niigata, Japan while browsing random stations on Radio Garden. It's called Non-Stop Casiopeia. Also for anyone interested there is a cool station on Spitzbergen (arctic island north to Norway) called Arctic Outpost (hard to miss, it's the only one there), they just play old bops from the 1920s, kinda eerie. And of course, th king of them all, Dr. Dick's Dub Shack on the Bermuda isles.

It's just amazing. It's as if the band was telling a different story with every song except there are no vocals and every instruments ads their part to the story resulting in a master piece of music every time.
I never found any artist that can be this unique and original in their music it's fascinating yet a wonderful experience to get to listen to these beautiful masterpieces .
I would have loved this when I was in my late teens when I was super into jazz. It has such a 70's vibe, like an entirely instrumental album by Aja era Steely Dan (and studio musicians, production, mixing, etc).
I find it Interesting how this album introduced a lot of us to more obscure and experimental music. I remember my music tastes before and after I heard “midnight rendezvous”. That was the sound I had been trying to find since I got into music

Him and the keyboardist from D-Lite need to wake up and smell the roses and do reunion tours. Takashi's the best drummer in jazz fusion to me, Anderson Paak is up there tho.
