- Dragon Nest is going to have its own animated movie in 2013! Shanda Games is cooperating with Mili Pictures(www.milipictures.com) to produce a trilogy, of which scripts are written by Terry Izumi from Shrek and scenes are directed by Chinese Animation Director Song Yue-feng. The storyline of the movie is adapted from the online blockbuster Dragon Nest, which was originally developed by Eyedentity Games, Korea, and is currently serving 13 countries and regions with 10 servers.

Cool. Looks very much inspired by a video game, but could make for a fun, action adventure, fantasy animated movie.
If a translator is between the game players, maybe between 2 months or so after that gets released there might be a subbed version on internet....I really hope so because the movie looks badass :D

I don't mind the small changes that made (before seeing this) but I was 20 mins into the second one before I was just totally pissed at how they trashed the series. Yet people somehow don't understand why a third isn't being allowed?? :/
The movie costed 22M USD to make. That's not the kind of money people can just afford to spend. And the company that had the money to invest, did not think this is going to go well, if I had to bet I'd assume they considered it's target audience to be too exclusive. So much like any investor they refused to support it until it was the way they wanted it.

Jeremy Huang i dislike it too, but hey they succeeded in making the Black Dragon difficult to kill,given that the 6heroes including Lambert get a hard time to kill it.that's also what i think made the movie successful

The 6 heroes battled the black dragon to exhaustion, and then Geraint transformed and just omgwtfpwned the black dragon on his own :/
Also Argenta never turned into a dragon in the original story, and she was much more powerful than Geraint, but she couldn't use her power because she had used it to seal the monolith (that's why even non dragon Velskud can kick her ass even before he gets the ancient xD)

If they make the graphic even better.. They will be targeting a smaller market because better graphic = better graphic card and processor = more expensive desktop or laptops. They are trying to develop a game for average computers onward.. So more people can play.. Not everyone can afford a high end and specs computer.
