Your unbridled enthusiasm in these reviews always makes me want to go out for a ride immediately if not sooner! I have a 2021 Nomad that I have been enjoying the shit out of, but I must admit, even with a dream bike like the Nomad the new Bronson conjures a powerful allure. In another life, I'd own both of course!
Hi great video! Did you notice that the Bronson has higher stack numbers than the Megatower? I thought the high stack was a little weird. Did you notice that and did it affect your climb?
As always great content Guy. Just wanted to know what shock pump you think I should get as my first full suspension bike is due to arrive this weekend Thanks in advance
TBH Lee they’re all basically the same so wouldn’t stress it too much. The ones that have a little lever that you flick up once it’s screwed on mean you don’t lose a little bit of air when attaching detaching the hose. It’s easy just to add 5psi more to offset that on a standard screw on though. What bike are you getting?
Hi Last time we spoke I ended up going for the specialized turbo levo hardtail and absolutely love it but fancy a full sus now .I’m getting another turbo levo just the full sus version hence the reason for the shock pump. Ideally I was going to through it In the car if I’m out on trails or even the pack so I have it on me if needed? The lads at the MTB shop have some incredible bikes from Cruz to nukeproof but for a 42 year old MTB newbie I think the specialized is good for me….. gone have my Troy Lee days 🤣
They definitely used to but now they’re more standard. That said the seat tubes are short so you can size up for extra stretch if you want. I’m guessing if you’re looking at a Bronson you want a more poppy, fun bike than if you were looking at the Hightower for speed and max efficiency. If that’s right then I’d go medium.

Sweet view of the new layout of the course and great ride review. Loved it Kes.
What a great video, makes me want to go out and ride! Well done!
Hey Guy, how would you compare this to the Druid? Seems pretty similar but has some minor geometry differences (besides suspension design)

Bronson or Hightower?
Your locations are incredible
Can you tell me your weight and rear shock settings you made? I have the 2022 Bronson and would love to compare notes.
What did you think of the bronson vs the spectral cf 9?
At 5'9 would a med or large be better in a Bronson ? I hear Santa Cruz come up a bit smaller than other brands.

Nice one guy, great review ! Looked like a lot of fun ! 🤣🚵🏞️
Absolutely cannot go wrong with a modern VPP Santa Cruz. My only complaint is they all come with the Maxxis Exo protection tyres, not the Exo+ or DD.
Yep, that’s what caught me out on Stage 3
What bike would you take to race the ard rock the bronson or the Druid ?
To race? Hightower. For the most fun, that’s a tricky one!
Can you put a 29 wheel on the back ?
Nope, it's specifically mullet. Hightower is the 2 x 29er
