It is a shame that Bollywood could not exploit the full potential of this multi-talented actor because of his different look or pure discrimination. There is no doubt that discrete foreign film critics would highly value Danny's cinematic talents. I had admired his handsome feature and multiple talents since the beginning of his acting career in Bollywood in the 1970s.

yaar dialogues ka credit hamesha likhne waale ko dena chahiye magar kabhi aisa nahi hota uska bhi credit use bolne waala hero ya villain ya heroine ya koyi aur le jaata hai which is very unfortunate but it is a fact too that even the best of written dialogues can go waste and unnoticed if the deliverer does not do justice to create the same majic and also to the director who puts in the right place at the right situation for that dialogue to create an impact but the real hero always should remain the dialogue writer in the first place not vice-versa.

FYI i am a very big fan of Danny not just for his performances but also the hurdles he had to face to attain this position for his un-conventional looks that didn't go well in the film industry and even after him we hardly had seen anyone from that region because may be no one had that guts and confidence to tread through that tough path and become successful like Danny.

i wonder where is danny sir nowdays he doesnt appear in reality shows or interview with medias but he is working quietly .he is legendary actor in india and in nepal he is considerd legend in acting and singing ..even once he left nepal 30 years ago he never went back to nepal once ..very intersting.. i hope we will get chance to see him in interview or tv shows and visit nepal very soon.

Danny Denzongpa recently did Unchhai movie and now-a-days he only does movie roles which he likes and not just for the sake of doing a film. He is from Sikkim which is in India in case you have poor geographical knowledge. However, he began his career in Nepal. He has acted in some of the hit movies of Nepal and has even sung some classic Nepali songs. Later he tried his luck in Bollywood and rest is history. In Sikkim, he owns top beer production company that also makes him a busy man. He is a living legend who has nothing more to prove in Bollywood.

I really feel why people rejected Danny because of his face and looks on the contrary I feel Danny as a handsome and stylish actor.
I,myself find people of the northeast to be very smart and handsome but I dont know why Bollywood holds on to it's third class views of people who are not of punjabi origin.

Danny knew the core of the role.. but bollywood ka mindset..but he proved it.. dimagh kholo btwon.. i appreciate anurakh kyashap ..his cinema.. not the usual masala...
one of my favorite actors and i used to mimic his deadly laughter to irritate my wife- my wife used to tell me "yeh danny ki hasi mere saamne math haso ". Bollywood film history is incomplete without Danny for sure. Luckily i met him twice and found him very down to earth and a person with warm vibes and you can connect and last but not the least a person with very sharp memory.
