I put in the anvil overland bar mount. It mounts to the grab handles and is color matched to the red dash plate. Endless options for your mounting needs. Also doesn’t take up the storage space on the dash and provides a stop for those loose items.
I like the grooves in the mounting ball which I am sure makes a more secure clamping effect with the phone mount that is tightened with the plastic wingnut and supplied wrench. Looks like a great product. I would like to know well the phone stays put when you are off-roading?
I have the new mag safe charger. I love it. I’ve only hit 1 bump hard enough to knock my phone loose, and it wasn’t off-road. It was on these wonderful South Carolina roads. I can’t recommend Bullet Point enough, and I wouldn’t have found them without your channel.
You aren't lying about those SC roads, total trash. And what's up with still having a 60 mph speed limit. People still drive 70-80 but damn I think people would raise hell about 60mph. Stupid
I got the one with the motorized cradle with magsafe charging. Seems really strong. Just got my Rubicon X Shipped from Lindsey Yesterday, so will have to see how it does. @@DIRTROADCRED
I just received this for my new '24 JLU and love it. I mounted it on the passenger side just as you because my big phone (s23 ultra) just got in the way of things that close. However, my only gripe is I wish the mount came down a little more over the dash itself and allowed for more windshield viewing space. These newer phones are very tall and it takes up viewing space. Other than that solid mount and it's great. Cheers!
Whichever way you slice it, attaching any phone mount to the 2024 - on the driver's side - is a challenge and this one looks like crap. Go to 5.30 in the video and you can see that there is no position for this mount that does not interfere with instruments, the wheel or info panel. In addition, ball/bracket/arm will add up in price and still not look great...and create a very nasty hazard in case of hard breaking. I would like to say there are better options but the choices are limited...perhaps a suction cup with flex arm on the lower left windshield is the best solution. I would not consider vent holding mounts but probably are the cheapest option.
Running MagSafe charger on a mount close to your windshield is a great way to overheat your phone and kill its battery. That's the reason I trashed my MagSafe charger after a week and switched back to the regular, wired one.
I run Rubi grid in my Jeep Oscar Mike 2016 JKU couldn't live without it great product. Phone 📱. GoPro mount. Tablet Mount actually off Amazon works great.
So exited than the brands are already getting products for the upgraded Wrangler and next Wednesday Gladiator 🤘🤘🤘🤘. We all need mounts for phones, radios etc. Matt , thanks so much for showcasing our group. More than friends we are a family. We hope to see you next month in Virginia at Overland Expo.🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Hello, can you perhaps say how big the distance between the threads is from the left to the right? I'm thinking about a handtrack to stay flexible installing RAM mounts. I follow you from Germany and find the videos interesting because the 2024 will not be launched until the end of January. Greetings from Germany.
If you ran a longer arm on the driver side would that help with not getting in the way?? Or do you recommend just getting the one for the passenger side and turning it towards the driver?
Great video. Curious to how that MagSafe holder holds up over some rugged terrain. If you guys get a chance, love an update review when you get a chance to drive it.
So will a magnet mount allow you to use apple car play or android car play? I don't think so but I might be wrong. Looks like all it will do is charge the phone.
Love the video! I just picked up the same exact jeep, also the anvil color. Gave up on the mount I used to use in my xj, and was looking for something like this.
No not at all!! They are extremely good mounts! I have one that isn’t a charger but it’s the same thing basically and I have bounced my phone all over the place without any issue!
i must have an issue with my usb port in my center console. with my phone plugged in and legit any cable to my phone, within 5 minutes or up to an hour my screen freezes to the point i have to unplug my phone and reconnect for it to work. very unfortunate because i was running the wireless car play dongle but it just got too frustrating.

Bought the double ball mount for the passenger side so I have my Midland handset and a mount for passenger phone. Love it!

Can one of these be mounted somewhere besides top of dash. Have old 2008 wrangler so empty space below my radio
I didn’t even think about with the new dash it will change how the mounts will fit. Nice video.
Thanks for watching!
I have a Bulletpoint mount on my TJ and it is the greatest! It's immovable.
Awesome!
Love the bulletpoint phone mount! Thanks for the video
Sure thing!

So do you recommend the 4cm arm for drivers side mount rather than then the standard 7cm arm?
Running MagSafe charger on a mount close to your windshield is a great way to overheat your phone and kill its battery. That's the reason I trashed my MagSafe charger after a week and switched back to the regular, wired one.
We run both!
You have me sold with this wireless charger mount… I will be putting this on my Christmas list for sure!!
Keep up the incredible work!! 👍
Awesome! Thank you!

Thanks for the review and the discount code!
What size arm did you use for the passenger side MagSafe car mount. It looks bigger than 7cm and we want to order the right extension arm.
All 2024s come with wireless android auto and apple carplay making phone mounts obsolete imo.
Respect your opinion
Bulletpoint just announced their Rubigrid for the 2024 and 4xe - I ordered mine yesterday and will let you know how it is!
Have one on order!
@@DIRTROADCRED Oh it is so sweet!!! I got mine on Saturday. You won't be disappointed!
I have to ask? why bother? Everything you need is on a bigger screen right there.
Nice to have a secure spot for your phone

Got the rubigrid yesterday and installed, is shaking expected?

I’m very happy with my Bulletpoint set up on my 23 Rubicon.. they look awesome
Yes they do!
Puedo usar el cable original de con este holder

@@DIRTROADCRED thanks! This channel is gonna give me so many ideas for it. Ya'll are awesome!
Can u turn the iPhone horizontal once it’s on the charger? Or is only vertical
Thanks! Just ordered the mount for my '24, which is still on order 😒
Good choice!
Love my bulletpoint mount for my phone and portable radio
Right on!
My concern is wouldn’t it fall on rough terrain ??
No not at all!! They are extremely good mounts! I have one that isn’t a charger but it’s the same thing basically and I have bounced my phone all over the place without any issue!
MagSafe is pretty dang strong. It won't fall off unless you're hitting a crazy trail, not during daily driving
Nope holds fine!
The MagSafe one isnt there
There is a drop down menu within the 2024 mount page
@@DIRTROADCRED thanks ordered! Sorry. Also did the wire come with it?
Cool mount 😊
Its great!
It sounds as though the 7cm length arm (2.75") is not ideal for the driver's side. I'm wondering if the longer 10cm arm (3.94") is any better?
I would say so!
Easy install and works perfectly.
Yes!
Cant find the part number on the mount

That’s odd
I can see Ryan has already been ducked! 🦆🦆🦆
That's awesome! I bet one of those was Matt! 😅
Matt gives all his ducks to his son, so I'm left out this time!
What part of TN are y’all in?
We are in PA!
@@DIRTROADCRED Oh ok, I heard in one video talking about being in TN so I thought y’all were from here.
But not lefty friendly. That’s why I went with a grab bar mount
Good point
the charger works well on daily riding but there is no way I'd rely on that for any offroad use :)
It holds off road nicely
Maybe I need to put the metal thing on my case. I’ve hit bad potholes with their charging mount and phone fell off. But daily riding is fine.
Will it work in a 2021 gladiator ?
They have a separate mount for the older models
Go Phillies !!
top of. the morning all! nyc
Cheers!
Why are you using a phone mount if you have Bluetooth and a navigation system?
That’s like saying “Why does your phone need speakers if you always connect your airpods to it?”
haha
Good point 😆
:Waits as patiently as he can to see the 2 door Wrangler build:
Lol
Too bad they wont ship to Canada. :(
Really?
