I've been watching vloggers in the Philippines for years and I never get tired of your vlogs because you're so humble just like the locals and I think it's great that you visit the small business and help them get recognized especially in times like this. Love it.
It’s good that you took your own cup to order coffee. I wish people will do that more often. You always introduced us to some unusual food combo. Sardines and talong in a bun?! Who would have thought and it looks yummy! Those 107 people who will receive your headbands will definitely get good vibes from you. SUPER APIR!😊
Good morning #BecomingFilipino 😊 ✨ So inspiring vlog💛The baristas in bicycle showed Filipino engenuity especially during this difficult times 😑 Thank you for supporting them Kulas ❤ Take care 💕 🙂
Man like Cocoy should be given a chance and perhaps, give him loan to expand. He’s not idling or feel defeatist after losing his job. I hope you follow up his story few years from now to give us updates. This guy has bright glowing future, I can only wish.
First & foremost, i thank you Kyle for showing us more of C.D.O. since you're residing there. This msg is for 'Cocoy'. I was touched how your family goes with you(brother, sister & a cousin) to support your goal. Wish my siblings & spouse were as supporting as yours. Sadly not. You've become a self made entrepreneur & have used the skills you've learned. I hope more people here would make full use of their skills and make it work for them. I find it a good encouragement indeed. Cocoy, hope someday you would be a self made millionaire. All the best & may the good lord guide you always!
I stumbled upon the Becoming Filipino channel this same time last year. The quarantine series and travel vlogs helped me get through the craziness of this pandemic. I hope to meet Kulas in the future and appreciate his advocacy. Power on! 😊😊😊
Thanks for supporting and promoting small local businesses. Times are hard during the pandemic and your action helps a lot. You’re a great Ambassador of Goodwill! 👍👏🙏🏼💖
I always love it about Kulas’ support for the locals. I myself have a habit of buying stuff from roadside sellers, sikad/padyak-vendors, lolo’s/lola’s, and kids and try to buy as much as i can afford. Honestly they dont need our pity, they very much need everyone’s support. And take note i dont haggle. I mean why would you? Do you haggle for your branded products when you buy them from malls or grocery stores? There you go.
This was a great story sharing Cocoy’s story. He sounds hardworking and love that his family is encouraging and being a support. Creative selling coffee on his bike and looks like he has an artistic flair for coffee making. Thank you Kulas for bringing attention to the locals in your city. I love your generous heart of thinking about others and also your humility is heartwarming. Love from California
Kyle love it when you meet new folk you show great interest in them and do your best to promote the business there in ,it cost nothing to help others and creates ongoing goodness and true friendship ,cool :-)
Very inspiring may God bless that gentleman and his siblings with his cool coffee bike shop another one of your inspiring vlogs about the Locals in the City of Golden Friendship Sa Dios Power on my friend

PHILlPPINES HOME OF THE BEST FOOD IN THE WORLD! Because of the diaspora of Filipino workers literally spread all over the world they bring the superior and best culture values in their foreign workplaces closer to home including food and etiquette. They imbibed and embraced it as their own in their business culture and attitudes. That’s why the Philippines is the recent best culture fusion of the world today! Where can you find hotel workers in Dubai and restaurant owners in New York cooking in Davao doing falafel and Turkish Shawarma and Greenwhich pizzas along with Mexican authentic coffees serving in their own Filipino best Filipino hospitality except in their home the Philippines! Good observation and highlighting with sharp vlogging Becoming Filipino!

You can travel all over the island but glad you are back in CDO & thanks for always sharing a day in life of Pinoys.

I appreciate you guys so much. I really believe you guys are real friends to my people of culture. For that you have my sincere, thank you.

That’s so cool about the 20 pesos coin, Kulas! I just had to tell my husband. Wow! I left the Philippines as a teen in 1992. It’s nice to see the updates in your vlogs. Oh yum, the street food!

Interesting bit of history. That 20 Peso coin you're holding was struck in the Philippines, with the actual blank coming from Canada. In fact billions of Philippine coins were struck, minted in Canada by the Royal Canadian Mint in Winnipeg, for the Philippine government until the Philippines opened it's own mint 6 or 7 years ago. Blanks are still from Canada.
