Yeah it’s a nightmare. Big companies can setup an auto system but small smes have to use the government portal which will be overloaded and slow and down a lot.
whenever there is a complain,
"the process is slow"
"the system is slow"
....they always give same answer
"we will look into it"
"we are working on it"
"we will improve the system"
but the thing is, after years of complaining, nothing changes

the government want to know all about companies so track and tax all. Electronics will breakdown and yearly updates. Then after few updates, they have to pay. after certain years, the system will be said no support and need to change new device.
This gov likes to burden the people. What do you mean when businesses don't have einvoice they can't claim expenses as tax deduction??? Businesses have so many expenses and now the gov is saying they don't accept any receipts that aren't einvoices if you're claiming business expenses. Basically forcing businesses owners to fork out expenses with their own money, leading to more profit declaration for the business and so that the gov can collect more tax

So slow relying on the old system is fine but overtime it may complicate things in near future, but who know’s rural area didn’t bother to follow up in the first place like any other country will have similar things happening etc.
If gov provides the accounting system - that will make things easier for everyone. As of now, we still need to pay so much just to attend training on e-invoicing. Shouldn't that be provided by LHDN for free - to create awareness?
GST was the best but as always, people complained. Now we have extra 2% of SST, e-invoicing and subsidy cuts.
Not an accounting expert but the way I understand is that e-invoicing is preparation for the next stage of tax revolution, which potentially include going back to GST when ready. The amount and nature of documentation for tax reimbursement under GST is similar to e-invoicing.
e invoice and subsidy has nothing to do with gst nor sst because its is another total different subject. they still will implement on gst.

The ministry had said, this implementation is not immediate. They give time to the SMEs to gradually implement e-invoicing.
Pls bring back GST, the system is already proven.

So, the govt has introduced SST, High Value tax, etc.
Also, since the time of Najib, PKR n DAP were against the GST.
wait and see when all transaction that go thru on that web just to produce e-invoice bcause each invoice got unique ID.. then “they” ask more budget to develop the system for more user can use it on one time…

Govt pls don't implement half baked system again + at least give 1/2 year of practices to the SME's.
Able to start properly once the system is mature...
if you know how to use smartphone, you should know how to use e-invoice. stop the excuse and learn. we dont walk right after we were born

Smart phone kepala ape nye. Must use system with API that returns information in XML or JSON. Literally need add more FTEs to maintain this 💩
