Chuck, check out this vid from N. Fancy. Both riders were wearing Hit Air inflatable vests. This is why we wear protective gear.Hooe all is good in AZ. Rich S.
Holy Sh*t! I put the link to that video in the description. I really like this inflatable vests, but they're pretty pricey, but full gear, every ride is a must. Here's why. ruclips.net/video/A9udIZMW54k/видео.html
My back protector is an Alpine Stars and it's pretty well ventilated. The D3O shoulder and elbow armor I have on the way is the same. Seems like a good jacket so far.
Good advice all around. My Harley riding, black jacket wearing friends say I look like a road worker in my hi-viz. There must be a good reason road workers wear it too, right?

I have that same jacket and have about 5,000 miles on it. I did go to a more perforated back pad, still level 2.
It washes ok.

Can't really say what others see, but a rider in hi-vis stands out to me and the black jacket doesn't. Stay safe out there...
