Hi there. I have weird problem that nobody as for now cannot help me in my country and my area. BTW I live in Poland. I will describe my problem so can you help me please at least a little bit? I am searching and watching YT videos on different sensors ETC. And watching here about MAP sensor I was wondering if my MAP sensor causes weird problems with my engine. I have spare MAP sensor that I bought from someone with other parts just in case. So my first thought was after seeing this, maybe I will try and change this sensor and see if there is any difference. But I can install it tomorrow. So for now I am wondering if it is even this sensor that is causing my problems. American mechanics seems to go way more into diagnostic tools and know way more on engines than mechanics in my poor country. So I was wondering, maybe you can point me in better direction if it is MAP sensor related issue or should I go and seek in different direction :) So my car is Peugeot 406 v6 ES9J4 and when I start it and it is cold then it starts OK and goes into 1000RPM and stays that way to about 2 minutes until it heats up a little bit (normal behaviour of course) but then as it slowly reduced RPM to its normal iddle RPM then weird thing is happening. Engine start to fluctuate in RPM at about 700-900 RPM and it acts irradically and shakes. I made few tests every time with cold engine that was sitting all night. So when I do nothing and just watch its behaviour then after about 2 minutes it stops shaking and fluctuate RPM and is sitting at about 850RPM calmly. On other day I tried to play with throttle while this problem occurs and when I add throttle then engine seems to not use 1 cylinder because it shakes weirdly as one of cylinders would not work at all. I rew it up to 2000RPM where I can hear engine works weirdly on 5 cylinders only but I did not test if it really use only 5 cylinders but I just assume this because without this problem on 2000RPM engine works smooth. So this playing with throttle do not change nothing in terms of this problem and it will go away after normal period of time for this weird issue (about 2 min) But when I start cold engine and just move right away and I drive then after about 1-2 minutes I feel that engine lose will to accelerate. It maintain RPM even if I press harder on throttle. It lags for short time then suddenly accelerates so I must decrease pressure on throttle pedal so it is not accelerating to fast. But after that still I feel slight lag and few jerks. It last way shorter than waiting while car is not moving. It is about 30 seconds to max 1 minute while I am moving and then it respond without lag etc. So I prefer to start the engine and right away move cus waiting 2 mins and then next 2 mins untill it will stop acting up is to long. I can start moving while it acted up on me after waiting for it to slightly warm up but effect is like I start moving right away. It is weird problem and my mechanics that fix my car cannot find a problem. They used diagnostics computer on it Lexia/PeugeotPlanet2000 and only thing they noticed was air pressure acting weird while all this start to happening on cold engine after 2 minutes of waiting till RPM goes down. So value for air pressure is at about 300 somet units :) then start to jump up and down like crazy for that period when it have this weird hickups and RPM fluctuations. They changed some mechanical sensor for fuel but not fuel pressure sensor that I changed on my own way back for new one. Also they changed throttle body gasket as it was old and cracked. Still did not help in fixing my problem. I phoned to other mechanic in other city close to where I live and he said to check if my knock-back (rebuff? Not sure if it is called this way in English) hose are good and not cracked etc. Also to check my high voltage wires going to spark plugs as it have coil for 3 spark plugs and wires for back spark plugs. Those cables are brand new but as I checked them in the dark they give blue fast moving sparks. All I could do is to use silicone spray on them to reduce this. Old ones had the same effect so giving it back to store just to get new ones with same problem so I decided to not do it. But this problem I described was not present when I used old cables and also new cables. First time when I observed this weird problem was day after I change fuel pressure regulator. But it did not repeat untill some time ago and is present every time I start on cold engine. That is why I am not sure if it can be related to this fuel pressure regulator. Old one leaked fuel to manifold and ended up in hard start where it took longer time to start the engine. So it is all I can remember. Mechanics in my country are not to good in finding problems, they only like to change things to new parts :) That is what they are good at xD Ok it is not funny :( So I was wondering watching your video if this MAP sensor can cause such problems or my problem lays in somewhere else. Thanks in advance for any help. Cheers.

Je mets toujours de la graisse dans le boulon de réglage pour qu’il ne se grippe pas
