Late but if it can help : i have pretty similar sound running my Rat2 with low gain setting into a standart Big Muff in neck pickup position. Do the job for me. Just add a bit of Leslie effect for some part and an old Vox wah for solo and you can feel the Dead Meadow spirit. Green stuff in option
