      Fun fact, that line was the whole reason why this became a trend! Hynden Walch (the voice actor) did it randomly to be funny, and the voice director liked it and kept it in!

      @@MorrisJohn-vo2vn It's because her German voice actress is the the daughter of a Turkish couple who moved to Germany before she was born. With this knowledge, Turkish makes more sense.

      Well since the Great Mushroom War was still a war, perhaps there were various German Paraphernalia left over from the conflict. Like some books or something. And PB being the nerd she is took any form of reading material she could.

      @@hafizihilmibinabdulhalim1004 I think he's talking about the stereotype that germans are unfunny. In the context of the scene, Finn is showing her a joke he wrote inside of a magazine, and she misunderstands his punchline, even saying how she finds the science of humor interesting. In her attempt to explain comedy to him, she gives him a dusty old tome. She sees humor as more of a science experiment. If you've ever seen german comedy, it fees almost formulaic and stunted, like something aliens would try and do to fit into human society.
