Edit: Just realized the pool where you caught him was the same place I got my first diamond, an Ide while trying to catch burbot for the weekly challenges

My rig is the Harpunen rod, optic reel, 9 kg line, glowing bobber, size 3 hook and redworms. If you want you can use my set up. Hope this helps 😃
On console, got the catfish the first day it was active(seen someone else get it and marked the spot), after this guy today. Thanks for uploading [edit] got him, lol was my 3rd cast on trollsporet and my first fish ever on that map. Just bought the game today, had been playing on game pass. Was a double, some other guy snagged him simultaneously, dude was level 200-Trane mafia

I. Just caught him on a 3 jig hook with a grub.once you catch him,can you catch him again the next day or so.I only had 22 lb line and a medium spinning reel

If a legendary fish snaps your line do you still get another chance at him or do you have to wait for the next one?
You can get it again... I had Big Larry break me off and caught him again less than 5 minutes later

Do you have to be on a multiplayer server to catch the legendary fish. I'm connected online and can do the daily challenges. I'd just rather not play multiplayer unless I have to

It's not that hard just play the game
@@Viggen37 I’m saying this because it doesn’t come down to just playing the game if you can only catch one legendary per map per week and the rod and reel both cost ten legendary tokens.
