There's this new trend in Nigerian Gospel Music and they call it "Chants"
One popular artiste in the sub genre is Lawrence Oyor.
My question is, is this new type of music particular to Nigerian Christianity/Gospel, or Are there leanings in other cultures or genres?
Did they pick it up from any broader category?
