    Boise alumni/fan here. TG had some monster runs that were so much fun to watch. His throws in ‘22 always had me feeling like he was a split second away from a pick. He improved some this year, and I feel like he’s got a lot more growth in him. OP, you referenced those backs from Boise a couple times, our lead back only played 4 games this season and always puts up great numbers, and our 2nd back is a 1st/2nd team All-American. Boise’s back back field was STACKED this year. We’ll miss TG for sure.

    I'm a lifetime BSU supporter and a huge Taylen Green fan. I won't expound on the poor treatment TG received from his QB Coach at Boise State.
    What I will say is normally TG's handoff fakes are that of a magician's slight-of-hand. You don't see that his half back isn't actually carrying until TG is sprinting (and uncatchable) towards the endzone. Treat him well because he's THE GUY.

      In my opinion, it was the former HC Andy Avalos, fired in November, who’s responsible for the QB controversy. After Avalos left, the same QB coacg got different results from TG. The entire team got better, players and coaching staff. Imagine that. BSU had a very good, experienced O-line and skill players who could block downfield. That protected him in the pocket and helped break a lot of TGs runs. I hope you guys can put the pieces around him and Iwish him well.

    • @PureMagma
      @PureMagma 5 месяцев назад

      @@David-nx2vm if that were true then Taylen would have stayed with Boise State. CJ Tiller openly admitted in an interview last spring that Bush Hamden tried to get him to sign with him at Missouri. TG10 was massively sandbagged by him... which is a heartbreaking loss for BSU.

    • @DaleEarnhardt4ever

      @@PureMagmaare you saying you think Hamdan sabotaged Green to eventually get his guy CJ Tiller the starting job? Just trying to track what you’re saying here. When I heard the interview, it seemed more like the usual thing to happen when coaches get new jobs. They try and bring over recruits that were going to the old school, like Hamdan with Tiller.

  • @jrholmes79

    As a BSU fan. Love TG, sad to see him go. Pros…athletic with speed, can throw vertical deep. Was improving in judgement. Cons…still has not corrected getting his feet set; throws off his back foot, shows signs of losing confidence when he gets rattled. TG was part of the “Three-headed Monster” running attack, which is nearly impossible to defend when Holani, Geanty, and Green are all healthy. UNLV has a very good team this year, however they got a rejuvenated, inspired BSU team in the Championship game who was playing the best they had all year. One last thought, Green was replaced due to inaccurate passing and lack of confidence. He lost starting position due to Madsen’s accuracy in passing -making the offense completely weaponized on land and air. TG was called back into first position due to “Mad Dog Madsen’s” season ending injury. TG is a highlight film in the making. He will only get better and has NFL QB size. I wish him well…bonus, as most BSU recruits…great character guy. Arkansas has hit atleast a triple with this guy!

    Little late to the party here. Although I live between the Huskies and Ducks along the I-5, I am a Die Hard Bronco Fan. I really love TG10, he has a lot of heart and not afraid to take a hit to make a first down. He is crazy fast and hard to tackle. However Passing game needs improvement. I did not see enough improvement between his first and second year which was disappointing. I hope the good coaches at Arkansas can work with him in that department. At BSU, He had a great O-line so plenty of protection, but was just those small low's, insides, and highs that were just enough to be costly. Wish for TG the very best and will certainly be watching a few of more Razorback games than normal this year.
