The End is Near and Spring is Here - Building My Log Home Pt. 13

- Spring is here and I am pushing to get the last logs on the walls, but the height and complexity of the build is making it more challenging. There are not many logs left to go on the walls but I expect some of them to be very difficult. Some are so big that my tractor is not going to be able to lift them, and others need to be placed where my tractor can not reach as you will see in the video. I will keep pushing forward to get the log work done and I am excited to continue to share it with you friends!

Welcome to Traplines and Inlines
I have the pleasure of sharing my passions for the wilderness, building, fixing and all other things interesting with my great group of RUclips friends.
I have lived offgrid in the bush for over 3 years, but now I am moving to the next chapter in my life and am building a big log home as my next place to live. It is going to be an incredible journey building my own home. I am using logs I harvested myself and plan to do most of the work by myself. This project will be the main focus of my channel, with many other adventures along the way im sure!
Thank you for watching - Развлечения
Don't worry about us...do your thing...we'll still be here when you're ready! Great drone shots btw! You should be very proud of all you have accomplished!
Thank you Joanne
Not crazy to use the drone to see what you’re doing. That’s SMART! Use the tools you have and you’ve got a fantastic imagination.
Enjoyable to watch but a lot of work for one to do
What a wonderful personality this young man has , he's going to be great man, his parents raised a him right
I Believe He Already Is 👍
Don't you dare apologize young sir. You have us all captivated. Incredible work ethic.
Don’t rush, just enjoy being outdoors doin what you love.
couldnt agree more thank you
Indeed, it is universal that slow is smooth and smooth is fast. That's how you stay DEADLY!
Man I just turned 58 and my kids are grown now and starting out their adult lives. If they had your work ethic I’d sleep a lot easier at night knowing they had the correct recipe for success..
You're not "cheap". Your huge efforts have come as far as they have because of your thoughtfulness and research. You are a resourceful and frugal hard working young man. Bravo to You. Cheers from New Zealand 💚🌏💚
Nowhere near cheap. Especially with the equipment he's purchased.
Feel free to make videos of the "boring stuff" too like what you're doing while getting all the logs, or make videos of what you're planning to do next. I'll watch em and I bet others will too. The whole process is fascinating.
For a dude who has never done this before you're doin a great job,
By the time this cabin's done, that scaffolding will have paid for itself a hundred times over.
We're not leaving you! Glad to see you're ok!
Whether you pump out videos once a week, once a month or whatever, no worries. We will always be here waiting for the next one. Love watching and love your tenacity young man. Keep stroking along.
You’re still my favorite you tube channel. Whenever I see you in my list I get excited to see what you’re up to. You never disappoint. Glad you got the platform to work from. Safety first 😉👍🏻👍🏻

So glad you're still here. You are an inspiration, man.
This is a lot of work alone. You’re doing awesome! Be safe and don’t worry about your subscribers, we will be here and watch when you’re ready. Do what you have to do. Take care . 👍👍👍👍
Looking good. You certainly have got a BIG cabin. Spring and Summer should make things a little easier on you. Can't wait to see the next video and what you have accomplished by then. Stay safe Sweetie 🥰❤️
I am continually amazed at the quality of your work man, the logs fit so perfectly together. It is going to be a great home and forever a credit to you alone.
Hells bells, remember the tortoise and the hare? Slow and steady is ALWAYS the best way. I love the way you correct mistakes as you go. It saves a lot of expense to correct them after you are finished. With such huge logs, I can't believe you are doing it on your own. This build is amazing. Keep it up, you're doing brilliantly. I don't care how long it takes because when it's finally finished it will stand as a testament to your colossal endeavor for a quite a few generations. Your great, great grandchildren will be lauding you and you will have set an example to them of the human capabilities we can all have. Stay safe.❤
You're doing great Kyle, smart purchase on the scaffold, I have 4 sets of those. You keep building, we'll keep coming back to watch ya my friend!
As long as you put out videos I'll keep watching no matter how long between uploads.
Don´t mind us viewers, enjoy building the cabin foremost! Film and show us when you feel up to it. It will be an impressive log cabin, one for the books. Enjoy watching every video you put up, thank you for that! Thumbs up from Sweden 🇸🇪

Great idea using the drone for look out, use the tools ya got!
Your editing and shots on this video is so good. 🔥 Also, I can't believe everything you do by yourself. Very rare today for someone your age.
Keep on building we'll be here
Many of us would enjoy a little planning content if you have time to edit it. Sometimes raw is better lol. Im happy to hear safety is part of that planning young man. You are a credit to your generation.
Deadly , just deadly ! Your meticulous planning, effort and sheer love of what you are doing is a complete delight to see. Thank you. As a viewer from way back, I am in awe of what you are doing and how you do it. Take your time, do it your way and it will be amazing. We'll all be here as we wish you all the very best. thank you.

Young man this is one big build…..I can’t wait to see the final log….stay safe n warm ….greetings from down under Australia…
Lad you are most likely the onlyone as invested in this project as I. I totaly get hom much is involved in what you are doing. You after all are a virgin log home builder who most likell eats sleeps and breaths this building. I have mentioned in the past slow in this regard is good. You have demonstrated time and time again that you are capeable RESPECT to you young Fella. Take the time you need and at the end you will recive your just rewards.
So great to see the progress! Really enjoy your positive attitude.
the building is coming along I'm loving these series! No need to rush, good things take time!!
Good to see you back. Just keep on doing it.
Awesome progress my friend !!!!! Don't worry about a time line , just be careful and stay safe !!!!! Thanks for the update 👍🙏
You're doing great, Bro. We are with you to end.
Chào bạn yêu rất vui khi được xem video của bạn
Such a great journey you have taken us on !
take some bailing wire and triangulate that scaffolding. That will cut the racking in half. Add a board across the bottom to eliminate it entirely.
Just yesterday I was thinking about you and wondering how you were doing.
We call that baker staging where I live. I have 2 sets of the same ones. Super handy. Especially when it comes time for the final build. Thinking costs nothing mistakes cost money. Cabins looking deadly. Keep up the great work friend👍👍
She's looking deadly thus far, can't wait to see it with the roof on!
U are doing an amazing job all by ur self
No need to apologise love your video.
Awesome stuff mate. To be able to build something like that all by yourself is fking amazing.
Always a great day when there's a new TL&IL vid. Keep at it!
Another deadly episode
Saturday and Trap lines it don’t get any better!!
Sending peace and love young man. I REALLY do admire your fitment on those corners. 😁
Thank you for taking the time to record some of your progress, I’m so jealous, I would love to build something like that! I do agree, you’re definitely going to need a crane of some sort, Lol keep at it, and be safe up there, looking forward to your next video
This is an awesome video. You slow and steady and thing before you leap process is the only way to do a project his big and demanding; not to mention the danger involved working alone on it. Great progress lad. You are doing everything right and I'm enjoying & grateful for every video.
Awesome Job. There is something quite calming about watching you complete a job most of us could only dream of. That's going to be one hell of a home you're building my friend. You're right though. Logs believe it or not is the cheap stuff. Just fuel and sweat. The finishes are what's going to bleed you out. But you're wise enough to know and savvy. You'll get there my fellow Kyle. Our names are awesome!!! Cheers from Ontario
you are doing an awesome job., you have come a long way., love watching your videos ,you are an awesome young man ,you do you
This is one of my favorite build serires on youtube by a long shot.
You're doing a great job my friend! Thank you for sharing!

Don't apologise. Your videos are great. You are doing a fantastic job. Learning as you go along. Kudos to you sir.
Looking forward to the next step! 😊
One of the reasons I love your videos is they are R rated and when I first started watching them it was what the hell did he just say? Rewind yup he just said fuck nice because it is real not all bleep bleep!
Take your time. I think we are all really enjoying the progress. You do such a great job explaining everything and I just love it. Be safe out there my friend.
WOW!!! U R The Man
every video is great. your personality comes out and i love watching.
I worked on those type of scaffolding, all the way up for at least 25 years. And you can stack them. When you stack them you need the out riggers for the bottom. I think it's going to very handy. Keep at it youngster your rolling. 🙃
RUclipsr “My self reliance “, put together a “system of pulley” that allows you to lift logs effortlessly, all by yourself. Its wayyyy cheaper Then getting a crane.
That’s the way they used to lift stuff back in the old days before they invented cranes and etc. 😊
Or
Do a RUclips search for “how to install a pulley to lift heavy logs” or some wording like that. Best wishes
Love the video and will always love all you can share with us and will NEVER expect more than you can afford to give!! Just keep being you and will just keep loving all you do!!
Good to see you again. It's amazing to watch your progress. Your smiles and chuckles are so endearing. Stay safe!
