I bought a smokey burst firefly LP style for 219.00 U.S. dollars shipped to my door. 2 piece body. 2 piece neck scarf joint. And honestly one of the best playing necks I've ever touched. When I strum it unplugged the sustain is crazy and the whole guitar even up neck to my fretting hand vibrates strong. Amazing what's out there these days. 😮
Have you seen Sean’s live stream from Scar My Guitar? His pink one was not grounded and had MAJOR microphonics. I’m looking forward to his full review and tear down because I’m willing to bet that he might find more problems that weren’t a problem on the Strat style.
looks like a sweet one brother! i have the monoprice indio 66classic(LP special2 clone) and the adjustment screws are also facing the stoptail.....it adjusted with no issues... im guessing each company makes theyres a tad diff from others to keep us on our toes haha!!
Watched a video the other day from another RUclipsr and he spoke to the Fesley… they stated that the bridge is on correct. They RUclipsr did change his bridge and than changed it back.
I agree with the guitar snobbery thing. I played a 4000 dollar Gibson Les Paul at Long and Mcquade and let me tell you I was totally underwhelmed. Sharp frets, fret buzz, dirty neck. There was absolutely nothing special or better about it. A 4000 dollar guitar should not have to be set up either. It should be set up perfectly from the factory. But no, they don't do that. I have a 350 dollar Lyx Pro Les Paul Style guitar that I bought on amazon and set up myself, and it blows the 4000 dollar gibson out of the water. I'm so glad I didn't waste my money on an "established" brand name. Its a stupid reason to spend thousands of dollars when you don't have to, because honestly, the difference in quality isn't that different.
The bridge was not made correctly for the application. This is why intonation problems. It was not a neutral bridge. Meaning it did not move equal amounts both ways of adjustment travel for intonation. One direction vs, the other. Many of these guitars had intonation issues that were solved by flipping the bridge. This is a fact of many Chinese guitars. I measured movement each way and found the the bridge is not a natural bridge. If it's not a netural , it makes a difference in bridge direction. Flipping the bridge works on very many guitars with intonation issues. This doesn't mean they are backwards. It simply could mean they choose the wrong bridge or the mounting points in the body are just a touch off. Even spring length in a bridge can make a difference, if it is a bridge with saddle springs. Another common problem is saddles that are machined wrong. Intonation may be off until a groove wears in, then suddenly one day you can intonate it. I've seen it all on Chinese guitars.
Both Audioman and Scarr my guitar found no fret buzz and scar found the frets were level, but both did find sharp fret ends, scar found less sharp fret ends on the strat that he did in the LP. But that's three guitars and three level frets which is pretty amazing. Audioman found the neck depth from .86 to .93 from the first to the 12th fret. That's a bit bigger than Fender standard but for a shredder I personally would want to see a smaller neck depth. Also the arch on the LP seems almost non-existent, meaning it might be painful to play after all because the edges of the guitar seem rather sharp. If you can contact them tell them that I would be happy to pay twice as much with the guitar If I I could be guaranteed that the workers are in safe working conditions and paid a decent wage.
I'm perplexed as to why the Chinese Guitars manufacturing companies have not addressed the bridge issues..this applies to a lot of Gibson Style Guitars.. it's been going on awhile... The guitar 🎸 🎶 looks good..
Its funny because the guitar snobs insist its a myth. If they actually look at the bridge machining they will see that the bridge adjusts farther one direction than the other. Some bridges can face down depending on the saddles, saddle screw spacers, and the bridge machining. Thanks for watching brother as always🙂

And they come up with all these dumb gimmicks and colours and expect collectors to buy them all up. Epiphone cost as much as les Paul's used to 20 years ago...and a Fesley is an epiphone, lol. $200
These are more of a single cut with a much thinner and ergonomic body than a traditional LP style guitar. They do have plans for a more traditional LP from what I've heard. Perhaps that will have a set neck?
Hi , love your videos ! I bought a Les Paul Greeny chinese copy . I also ordered the real greenybucker pickups from Gibson . Will they fit in my guitar easily ? Are Chinese pickups and Gibson pickups the same size ? I'm new to guitar playing but a friend tried my chibson and said it was better than is epiphone . Thank you and have a nice day .

@@chucklee347it really is crazy. I even have a DIY LP from Solo guitars that's better than a gibson. Plays great, never out of tune.
I bought the black one and no issues except my bridge was backwards like the Bald Shredders.

The company wrote back to a guitar reviewer to say the bridge was NOT accidentally put in backwards but was intentionally so to be easier to work on.

I bought the Fesley strat and it had a very weak neck and I sent it back..
I'm not sure what you mean by a weak neck?
