honestly, the sims 4 community can’t really say anything about us using cc when they literally sit here hours and hours stacking cc like skin details to make their sims look good. i understand that the sims 3 can look outdated but what can you expect when it came out 14 years ago… i don’t want to say too much because i do enjoy watching people play the sims 4 buttt i’m not arguing with nobody that continuously get scam by EA to get a lick of gameplay enjoyment. no tea no shade. 😬
Both communities need to come together! I think Sims 4 cc is so much more detailed than sims 3 but why call my sim ugly or heavily modded if we all use the same amount?!

"When you don't have a color wheel, you become very bitter" crying 😅I really don't know who started this weird rivalry about which is "prettier", when both are really pretty in their own ways (I LOVE the seasons in TS3, and a lot of pre-mades actually have really pretty/cute faces imo). but I find it so weird that some want to seem, idk, a more superior player(?) for playing the newest iteration haha. Were most TS3 hairs so horrible? yes 😂 But some were decent, and I think what made up for it was the gameplay and how pretty the worlds are. Some of the fashion is actually cute (i'm looking at you Diesel stuff) and I still use it, but alot of it was like peak early 2010s fashion, cause that's when it was MADE. Like c'mon people D: It's just weird for people to make the argument "sims 3 sims are soooooo ugly without CC, when most, if not all, of the people who make this claim have their TS4 sims covered in CC from head-to-toe. Why be so upset by a game within the SAME franchise D: We are supposed to be a community, but they make it feel like a competition, so I try to stay away from TS4 twitter haha. Ps. Your sim is so cute! 💚

I didn't know they were going in on us on Twitter ugh! You cleared them anyways. They can go all in about the looks of the game/the sims but never can come for the gameplay. I'd rather play a game that's a lil ugly than a game where I don't have fun.

Honestly that whole Twitter thread just came out of no where unprovoked and started drama for reason, it's 2024. Both sims 4 and Sims 3 games styles have aged and it shows😬. But the games have completely different sim styles, and not everyone has the same taste. Now everyone is entitled to their own opinion sure, but being downright nasty and slandering a game that came out in 2009? That's just ridiculous. That's like the equivalent of saying GTA 4 is uglier than GTA 5, when both games came out decades apart on different engines. And same could be said about every sims series and games, which all had their flaws. No game is perfect and that's fine. Games AGE OVER TIME and that's fine.
What I will say is that the sims 4 seems "better looking" in some ways as the game is being actively updated on textures and hair by maxis. But some of the 2014 clothes and hairs? Are sooo UGLY it's not even funny. I saw the post of someone posted their 4 sims (who were pretty) and the comments were so mean for no reason.
All imma say is as someone who played both games vanilla and still perfers the sims 3, I rather take pudding face sims any day then play the sims 4 and my children age up with no chin or botched shoulders after 1 generation.

I just think they do too much frl, leave my good sis sims 3 alone. They need to just play their game and let us play ours. I could care less about TS4 and they need to start to do the same :`)
SURE, the sims are not perfect but who cares ? If I'm having fun with the game that's all that matters and it shows that they really got no gameplay because why would sims being " ugly " decides if you wanna play the game or not ??? TS4 must be so boring if aesthetics is what defines their gameplay.

All Sims are ugly without skin/eye replacements XD I have replacements in TS2, I had replacements in TS4 and I will not play TS3 because I have an laptop and it would blow up XD (But if I buy computer that can handle all of the games, i will download replacement for TS3 too)
