  • In this video I show you how to adjust a pop up spray head. This is a very simple process, anyone can do it. If you have dry spots or hot spots in your lawn it’s likely do to your sprinklers. So checking your sprinklers and making sure they are running correctly can help you keep that nice green lush lawn that makes the neighbors jealous.
    You can buy the products I used in this video from Amazon by clicking on the following links:

      I’ve done the same. 🎉Props for you. Also, I just wanted to add that some systems seem to have more pressure when they go off automatically, rather than if we turn the valve lever. That’s why a “4 am “ fix might be best.

    What if one seems to not be dropping any water in about a 3 foot area around the sprinkler head? So it’s basically spraying right over it. What might be the fix for that?

    • @HomegrownHowTo
      @HomegrownHowTo  11 месяцев назад

      Ideally you want head to head coverage. In your case you’d probably want to adjust some of the other heads to achieve this.

    What did you mean when you said you did a 'baby shampoo application'? Can you explain what this is? Thanks for your video.

    • @HomegrownHowTo
      @HomegrownHowTo  Год назад +1

      Absolutely! You can apply baby shampoo to the lawn, which is a much more cost effective solution than using an expensive soil conditioner. This helps the soil retain more water longer.

    Spots in my yard are dead looking. What do you use baby shampoo for

    • @HomegrownHowTo
      @HomegrownHowTo  Год назад

      I use them on areas that are hydrophobic and don’t absorb as much water. So first off, I would make sure your sprinklers are hitting those dry areas and if they are check out this video here:

    Baby Shampoo?? What does that do?

      It basically acts as a surfactant on the lawn and turns a hydrophobic soil into a hydrophilic soil.
