    I fixed mine at 4am. I'm soaking wet, but I fixed them.

      I’ve done the same. 🎉Props for you. Also, I just wanted to add that some systems seem to have more pressure when they go off automatically, rather than if we turn the valve lever. That’s why a “4 am “ fix might be best.

    Thanks for the video, it was quite helpful. Instead of using pliers to make the turn adjustments, I used a Harbor Freight rubber strap wrench that did the job beautifully.

    How would I know if I need to use a wrench? Or are all styles like what you demonstrated using a wrench to reposition? Distance and such are good, just want it to wet my driveway/car.

      If your nozzles are tightened then to reposition the spray you’d use a wrench as shown. Thanks for watching!

    What did you mean when you said you did a 'baby shampoo application'? Can you explain what this is? Thanks for your video.

      Absolutely! You can apply baby shampoo to the lawn, which is a much more cost effective solution than using an expensive soil conditioner. This helps the soil retain more water longer.

    What if one seems to not be dropping any water in about a 3 foot area around the sprinkler head? So it’s basically spraying right over it. What might be the fix for that?

      Ideally you want head to head coverage. In your case you’d probably want to adjust some of the other heads to achieve this.

    I have Orbit spray heads. I am having trouble with one of my corner heads it sprays onto my Patio getting it saturated.I have been unable to adjust it to not spray onto the Patio. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

      Make sure it’s screwed on tight then adjust the base of the pop up with channel locks as shown in the vid. It should ratchet when turned.

      Yeah they make the exact nozzle but it shoots 17’ rather than the 15’ ones I used in this video.

      I use them on areas that are hydrophobic and don’t absorb as much water. So first off, I would make sure your sprinklers are hitting those dry areas and if they are check out this video here:

    Those hot spots are also signs of insect damage. Either chinch bug or sod web worm. Depending on where you live.

    Cool, I have several sprinklers, brand new. Yet not spraying at all. I will attempt the small screw on top to adjust them. Very frustrating. I got soaked last night attempting to adjust them. .

    That's so weird that you use channel lock pliers to turn the left starting nozzle position. I do this all the time with my hands. Even if wet.

      It basically acts as a surfactant on the lawn and turns a hydrophobic soil into a hydrophilic soil.

    Instead of possibly damaging the threads, why don’t you just unscrew the sprinkler insert from the plastic can and reposition it?

      Because this won’t damage the heads. It’s how they’re supposed to be adjusted.
