  • Gagron Fort, one of the six hill forts of Rajasthan, is located at Jhawalar district and is popularly known as the only ‘water fort’ of the state. The fort was declared as the UNESCO World Heritage site in 2013. Known for its fascinating rock formation around and encircled by water, this breath-taking monument was built in 12th century by the Parmar rulers in Jhalarapatan region.
