Had a packet of landit hooks broke 3 of them just by tying my knots, (and no i wasnt using pliers just have the hook on my thumbnail and tighten the knot on the swivel and it was over

i've been fishing Daichi for 10 years+ now... used to buy them by the box of 100 hooks... never had problems... since i started buying them in 10's (because not a lot of shops sell them by the box anymore) i lose so many fish due to bent hooks,,, pisses me off!! how can a daichi bend before a 7lb line break???? i smell a RAT!!
So I did some digging into the whole thing and it turns out that, a whole lot of ripoff fake ones were released into the market but because they are copied so well, no one can tell them apart until you fish with them! So Daiichi as a brand and company, still have great hooks, it’s just the fakes ones we have to deal with now! But you right, the box of 100 are still going strong, it’s the small packet ones that are giving trouble!

I used to use BAT hooks but changed over to Daiichi! Think I will go back to the BATs
And thats why I went to VMC hooks. The 0.5 Hooks bend open and the 0.8 breaks off
It's happens sometimes depending what hook you buy
