Thanks for your quick response! So in ordering a maple 5.5x14 Craviotto snare, would you recommend a vintage or one in 45 degree bearing edges? And what are the big differences in the two? Also you say the vintage and the 30 degree edges are similar are there differences in the two? Here's another for you...what's the difference in the vintage edges and the BB edges? I'm asking all of these questions since I'm going to probably order one soon. Thanks Again.
@@michaelcavazuti3270 What kind of music are you going to pla on the snare? The diference between 45° and 30° is moderate. A round bearing edge on the top makes the snare limited for certain tunings
One of the best demos for a Craviotto!
Thank you Michael!
So are the bearing edges 30 or 45 degress? Thanks
Hello Michael, "Vintage" bearing edges are similir to 30°

@@drumcentercologne I usually play jazz,some rock,Blues R&B! I like a high tight sound with good articulation.Thanks
@@michaelcavazuti3270 I think both bearing edges (45° and 30°) work great for you. The 30° is a little bit dryer but still precise.
