I Love Fender, but face facts; Greg will always be associated with his legendary Gibson SG

And a Marshall amp.
No doubt!! How did this even happen man?
I know this is so awkward to watch. First off this chic is such a poser and has no clue. And yes they take a guy who is famous for playing an SG and a Marshall and give him a tele with a solid state amp. Don’t get me wrong I love fenders but they have be come media whores and their prices have gotten unreasonable Hence why they push their Squier line and solid state amps so hard. Just make a nice new middle of the road Fender that sells new for $400 bucks and says Fender on the headstock. That’s all we want from them. Like the MIM’s were back in The 90’s! Slab of alDer with a maple neck and a fretboard, three quality mid level pick ups with potentiometers and a nice tailpiece. It’s not that hard. They are fucking dolt on necks.
I was thinking the same thing, I’m not use to seeing him with a fender. He doesn’t look comfortable
Grew up on Circle Jerks, still blast them at 55. Picked up the guitar about 6 years back to relax and figure it out. I started playing by ear and watching video of Greg and Bob Mould and other guitarists I followed. I found myself learning CJ stuff and then, how to play it differently on the fretboard. Paid Vacation was the first CJ tune I taught myself. Sounds pretty good, ask my neighbors! Thanks Greg, those who didn't live through the punk years seldom understand it.
Jen looks like she has too much excitement for Greg while playing blitzkrieg bop. Ha Ha. Love it.

i love Greg . I remember seeing him play in the circle jerks down at iguanas in mexico . He was jumping up and down and his cord came un plugged from the guitar and his roadie was trying to plug him back in but he was still rocking he finally got the cord plugged back in . the whole time it didnt phase greg even though he was not even plugged in . high energy good time . loved it

weird seeing Greg without a Junior. Seems like P-90 pickups would have been good to mention, whether they are on an LP, junior, tele, the p90 pickups are associated forever with punk since in the late 70s Juniors were pawn shop guitars, and thus lot of early punk was played on them. I use humbuckers for low end, stuff played in mostly palm mutes without a lot of open chordage, and p90s for the rest

you must be one of those guys who are "technically proficient" yet nobody wants to listen to them play (or even be near them for more than 10 minutes)
You turn to punk because there are no great bands in other genres.
I love her but hes a pretty boring interview. He seems uptight, and like he doesnt really wanna play or like hes bored and cant wait to leave and be alone in his basement.
