    As an Iranian, I can confirm I've seen them in the streets a lot!
    They are not like mimosa pudica (since I've touched and it didn't react) but they still open their leaves in morning and close them in night.
    Great video!

      Haven't seen wild mimosa pudica here in america, just seed planted. But the trees here spread like a weed

    Hello, I planted 2 mimosas last spring they are about 7 months old now and maybe 20 cm tall. Its my first attempt at bonsai and I m not sure what and when should I do next. My plan is to repot and completely cut them to few centimeters in the spring and maybe wire them. Any tips would be helpful, thanks.

    • @Back2Trees
      @Back2Trees  4 года назад +2

      I didn't cut them completely. If some branch was too long I did shorten it, however not drastically. Next spring I might reduce the height. Interesting thing to note, this autumn all the branches fell off and now it's growing again.

      @@Back2Trees That takes some dedication to do it for a year. Well done, the results are excellent. I hope you're rewarded with the flowers soon.

    I've got two mimosa trees in my backyard. These plants grow everywhere around here in Mississippi. They remind me of Ferns, besides the fact they don't produce spores.

    nice video. look, what are the little stones you have on the top of the plant? any tip on how to buy it? thanks

    • @Back2Trees
      @Back2Trees  3 года назад

      it's called akadama, you should be able to find in it your local bonsai store - it indicates when to water the plant based on the color

    Leaves fell off... And recovered. 🤔 Isn't it normal for this tree to drop leaves in dormancy?

    Please show me nicely from the begining like seeds how u have germinate after that how you can put in soil

    • @Back2Trees
      @Back2Trees  4 года назад +2

      Just do scarification of the seeds using the sandpaper. Then put them to water for 24 hours and then sow them (don't place them too deep).

    I had a Albizia for 2 years, but my mother forgot to water. Now i got two new ones. Normally its not a indoor bonsai, my firend, but my last albizia had no problems.

    • @Back2Trees
      @Back2Trees  3 года назад

      Oh sorry to hear that. Also, same experience here, I treat it as indoor bonsai and it's still alive, after 2 years.
