I purchased my fishing coaster to go on my Zulus as soon as I watched this video, what a simple and cheap idea and it works really well. Thanks for that.👍
At the price point (£300 cheaper than the LRF/ballistic calculating competitors) It's great. Mines on a .22LR and has very effectively accounted for vermin both day and night. I agree it's not perfect but I have lots of 18650 flat top batteries but not lots of money. I agree with you about Savage accutrigers they're just two stage triggers and are pretty good.
I do love your style of review/video. Straight forward, no shit, HONEST, say what your thinking, which is generally what we all experience. Keep doing what your doing. Please don't, in time get bought by the product touts. Mark Ripley was good once upon a time, now you can see him practically reading the type, even he doesn't believe what he's saying. Please stay as you are, your doing a great job.
You can buy rubber m-lok spacers to get round the cold issue. Or if your rail has an upper section a bit of camo tape works well. Totally agree about the mount for torches tho, always seemed odd to me that more people haven’t picked up on it.
Hi Chris good video and and I am glad you mentioned the points about night vision scope trying g ro be all things to all men !! Hope to have talk to you at the NEC
Happy New Year to you Chris. I am looking forward to your reviews of 2024 and I am sure they will be interesting and informative as always. Keep them coming. 😀
Can I suggest adding digital Borescope to your reviews? Good look at chambering job and quality of rifling sorts wheat from chaff, many end users wont have access to bore scope.
Hi, is that a 0 moa rail on the savage and scope? Ive got a zulus with 0 moa rail, and a savage 93r17 but need a rail fir the rifle, windeeing what ones best to get. ?? Thanks.
I have used it this morning and all is fine with it so I'm very happy but availability in the UK is not strong. The CZ range is far more varied and with good availability, multiple spare parts, stocks barrels and magazines as well as a more refined finish. the Choice is yours and I own several 452, 455 and 457 models in both 22 and 17 HMR with no regrets.
Last space will it be the savage b17 precision or the ruger precision 17hmr or the cz457 17hmr dam decisions let's see what happens at the shooting show
I have reviewed them both , the choice has to be yours but I own a savage b17 although I needed it for scope reviews and it was really cheap clear out sale

Thank You, you win a prize, is it possible to message me without me publishing an email address because last time I did that, I got 1000 junk emails😂
As a Brit living in the USA I find this video super interesting!!
Please tell me more, why
Even as a Brit living in Britain I find this intresting.
😂

Really enjoyed that video, no BS, just say it as it is.
Hi great vids
Did you do a review of this rifle in the field? How does it fair as rabbit rifle or is aimed more towards the target shooter .
@@lexiarchie1 the choice is yours, it wouldn't be my first choice as a hunting rifle but neither is 17 hmr a precision loading
Viking arms are the official U.K. importer and importing the BR 22 and BR 17 like you tested and shot a West London in October
That's good to hear confirmed, it's a good rifle and shot well yesterday when I zeroed it
It’s not raining 😁, another funny and very informative video Chris 🦊💥
Thank you
Nice. Do you have a link to the carbon leg ‘Harris’ bipod
Something off ebay years ago that hasn't fallen apart YET

Arken reckon the latest firmware update recentres the reticle after zeroing! Cracking review

You can suggest it but a 17 hmr is probably the last place you will ever see one, it wont physically fit.
@@chrisparkin431 of course 17cal isnt the place for borescopes, but anything > 22cal is your oyster.

Great video. I like the Zulus but I’m really looking forward to seeing the hik alpex lrf 4K.
All that glitters isn't gold😉
@@chrisparkin431 very cryptic.
Thanks for another great video Chris.. quick Q, what mod are you using ? Thanks
Dpt
My Ruger has that type of trigger and I hate it, the blade is too thin to the touch
Appreciated your thoughts on the 15.5g 👍
Happy New Year Chris….Enjoyed that review..would you go for the savage over the CZ.. 17hmr ?

Thanks for the reply Chris.. will have a look at what’s on offer at BSS in Feb..but CZ rimfires don’t often disappoint 😉
Keep up the great work 👍
@@johnmclean8543 thank you, yes CZ rimfire are the benchmark generally

If you've just got in and dropped this, I'm just having a brew and going out...
