I'm going to pin your comment for a bit so ppl can see how grouchy you are... 1. I am not a "content creator" I am a sportsman 2. Sportsmen help other sportsmen become better sportsmen by sharing information, tactics, being generous, and at times, even sharing locations. 3. Helping others enjoy the outdoors doesn't cost...it pays
Fisheyefool15, your attitude is what's killing sportsmanship in our State. Compared to the sportsman I came up with in the 60s through the 2010s, you people have become snobs and selfish. I'm glad I taught my sons and grandchildren differently.
@@brucewilson6694 Imagine what your attitude would be if your grandson told the world the hotspot was right out in front of the up- north family cabin you worked your life for and found 75 vehicles full of strangers scrambling through the outlawn easement every weekend thereafter
@@DROutdoors18 So as a 'sportsman'... you've never returned to a once pristine camping spot to find it a beat down trash dump? Or found a public access spot closed to ALL use after getting trashed by vagrants? Or found an ice fishing spot or stream trampled and littered by people only there to snag a truckload of meat? Or gone to those same areas to appreciate the peace and quiet just to be stuck listening to loud hiphop bass thumping all day long? It costs us sportsmen heavily for assuming there's people that don't use the internet to rape and ruin stuff and make people 'grouchy'..
They always look big when we pull em outta the hole. Not so much when were cuttin em. Lol. But you definitely git some jumbos. Greetings from buffalo N.Y. . Maybe see ya at the superbowl.
Don't u guys get sick off Perch fishing I love it too. But from time to time we hit the gill s and crappie too I think it's funny when people call a crappie minnow a perch minnow lol perch will eat about any kinda of meat u don't need live bait . But looks like ur trying for walleye in 9 ft of water ur way to shallow for walleye but u know that lol try it at night where ur at in this video.. good luck fishing
Shallow/deep is relative to the lake you are in. If the deepest point on the whole lake is 25ft then 9-10 isn't that "shallow" as a lake that has a bunch of 50-60 ft stuff. We fish 7-20 and have similar luck everywhere. Thx for watching
Sweet what lake are you fishing? I'm sure it's probably not but it looks like East Twin Lake! There's some 18 in perch and also walleye in East Twin lake i've seen them over off the island
Must be nice to be younger. At 72 you won't catch me out on that ice in conditions like that without my Clam Pop-up ten.The best lake around me for perch is Teal (and "eyes) but that's 20 away from. So, if I want to catch fish close to me it's either bluegills, splake or rainbows (possibly walleyes from Bass Lake...but haven't caught one there in years). I'm in the Yoop.
Fishing 6 FOW you should just windmill em up. Raise rod up as high as u can, grab line with other hand and yank em out and get that spoon back down immediately. Also, try some beaded spoons like a Slab Grabber...single hook and you can pop em off easily and get back down quick.
When will you content creators and social media folks learn not to expose locations?

This always makes me cringe... even spots on world famous lakes weren't even mentioned by the classic tv show hosts out of respect for the locals

Those bibs do wonders. 15 deg with 10 mph wind. Shack goes up when the kids come out...which they will be soon lol
You had your day pal
