Absolutely lovely channel. Your down to earth approach is just my cup of tea. I can't bear fakeness or sensationalism and I know we're safe from that here ❤
In Wales, we eat something called Ponchmaip which is potatoes and swede boiled together. It's lovely with vegan sausages. Have a very merry vegan Christmas (Nadolig Llawen) and thanks for the vlogs.
Ooh, would love to know who the others are? I also have 3 Vegan channels that I watch religiously - Butcher to Vegan, Those Vegan Guys and Your Vegan Food Explorer.

I went Vegan age 19 and am now 75 and nothing has dropped off yet.....best thing I ever did. We are very lucky with all the seasonal good quality UK grown veg still cheap in the supermarkets. Even some of the organics are well priced. I am a "low income" pensioner and neither hungry nor cold. Good cheap meals every day with lots of fresh veggies. Processed foods as a treat. So sad that some pensioners are saying "eating or eating". More people need to cook from scratch. Frozen Vegan mince is very cheap in supermarkets. Good for shepherds pie, chilli, curry, spag bolog, lasagne etc., Richmond Vegan sausages. A nice cheap tomato soup - passata, water, good dash of balsamic vinegar and a pinch of sugar - cheap and nice......... Each week I do buy La Vie smoked Vegan ham (Sainsburys and Tesco) and Patak's aubergine pickle for sarnies. Porridge is very cheap esp with Tesco fortified soya milk (50p a litre) . Nobody needs to eat rubbish food.
I have just done my shopping this morning. I am in Cheltenham and I went to Tesco and Sainsbury's and came away with nothing for Xmas day. No vegan mains on the shelves, just big spaces where it all should have been. I have noticed how supermarkets are cutting their vegan ranges....I normally always cook from scratch but just wanted something different! Great video and you keep on being you, that's why I watch. Have a wonderful Xmas, new year xx
Yeah I’m about 2mins into this vid and I really like your vibe, man. I agree so much with this. It’s why I started my channel - there’s a lot of clickbait and parroting the same old (and often inaccurate) info. Either that or super elaborate, fancy, complicated recipes. We need more down to earth vegans who 1. Make vegan content for vegans and not trying to prove anything to anyone, 2. Normalize chill, boring meals that don’t require a bank loan to make (if I see another cashew cheese or fried [insert delicious but expensive mushroom variety]!!) Sorry for the long comment your message and rant struck a cord with me 😂. I’m subscribing right after this vid!
Ah I forgot to say - i live in Harlem in New York City. We do have access to a lot of things so I can’t complain too much BUT it seems what the grocery stores carry in our neighborhood hops versus what the downtown or more affluent areas’ shops carry are really different and it upsets me. And the Lidl that opened up a few years ago started out with a decent amount of vegan options. As someone who watches a lot of uk and European grocery hauls I was so excited about having access to some things lidl has…. The selection started off alright but just got worse. Now they don’t even have vegan cheese! Besides produce they only have dumplings, plant milks, one vegan pizza (out of 3 fridges for pizzas 🤦🏾), and one type of tofu. What a mess.
Thankyou for your videos you do a great job . Hope you have a lovely Christmas and all the very best for New Year x😊
Well done Sainsbury's. I thought you were going to end up with no centrepiece!
Wishing you and the doggies a very merry Christmas and a wonderful New year 🧑🎄🎄
Have a very merry Christmas. You and your gorgeous pets 🎄
