One of the best forgotten/under the radar pieces, albeit unfinished. Had Lekeu lived to old age, he most likely would've been up there with Ravel and Debussy, who, mind you, didn't compose pieces of such complexity and grandeur when they were 23/24.
Very touching fragment - one can almost here the ghost of its scherzo and finale, except, like Bruckner's adagio in the 9th, its final bar throws out a question into eternity.

Can’t believe i missed this when it came out. This is an amazing piece. Never heard anything like it
