You know, as I search up Minamoto no Yoshitsune (Ushiwakamaru)'s history, it's kind of weird how Shizuka Gozen, his concubine, is more famous than his actual wife, Sato Gozen. One search of Sato's name and you won't find much info about her, but there is a plethora of information about Shizuka and even some stuff... like this.
That boss is a pain in the butt to defeat. It took me an hour. Her first form is easy, but 2nd becomes hard. This is the first time I've played SSD to be fair.

I just beat her again yesterday as hanzo her cheapness was over 9,000 I also thought I beat her in less time than I did with yashamaru nope my best time is still with Yashamaru. I love this game but I hate this last boss. I had to do the cheapest thing to beat her as hanzo and it was boring but killing her with my rage and super was the best feeling ever.
Tian Jin hmm it depends on the character you are using. Watch out for her throw attack with her fans it targets your feet so jumping is a great way to dodge. But being cheap is just using the medium and strong attack to get just one hit and then blocking all her attacks. You need to break her barrier, when she is clothed she takes chip damage after breaking through that she is stunned and that is you chance to do real damage to her her second form will always open up with an energy blast you need to be blocking, this attack use a lot of her power you can get some hits in after her specials to break her barrier again and get her to her weak state to do damage. You can’t just rush her and hit her you need to play defensively and attack only when needed other than that blocking and dodging most of her attacks.
Tian Jin Yashamaru had a really strong two hit combo, but they did away with it in an update. But when you can kill an opponent with four hits it is game breaking. Because the first two hits shaved off about if not a little more than half the health bar. It was his strong attack if you were close enough to the opponent pushing the strong attack button twice would result in his game breaking two hit combo. I was sad when they nerfed that, because it made getting through the arcade mode easy with his character
This boss is easy. The EASIEST boss of any Samurai Spirit series. Stay low, listen to what she's saying because the moves comes after what she says. I beat her on level 5 on my 5 attempt, I did even know I was on level 5 cpu, because I had forgot to changed it. Easy or Hard she plays the same.
She’s a challenging Boss fight but thankfully she isn’t that cheap, although it was a D**k move when she starts blasting you whenever you beat her in a round.

After a major disagreement with his half-brother, Minamoto no Yoritomo, Ushi flees from Kyoto. Shizuka travels with Ushi for a while until she was captured by one of Yori's men and was forced to return to Yori's domain. Shizuka was then forced into loyalty for Yori and danced for his entertainment. Yori liked Shizuka. However, she would sing songs longing for Ushi. This greatly upsets Yori. During the time, she was also pregnant with Ushi's child. Yori threatened her with a proposal, if the child was a girl, she lives, and if it is a boy, the child will be slain. She gives birth to a boy at age 19, and was later killed with her child by the order of Yoritomo.

In her second form you have to instantly block her first attack. Itll always drain half of your health meter if you don't!
