I do enjoy downtemp deathcore but man this is as the other person said...as basic as it gets. People make fun of Emmure but at least they have more groove and the songs flow in an more interesting way usually.
Anyone else hear the full album and notice the difference in the audio for certain tracks? You can especially hear the difference in the mix for the drums.
It’s this kind of Downtempo that got old back in 2014, and this is done in a very uninteresting way. Even by outdated Downtempo standards, this is uninteresting. It’s heavy, but uninteresting and should have been left behind 6 years ago. Most Hardcore has gotten more creative since then. Not to mention, Falsifier has done better than this.
i don't know why they didn't. when i ordered i was kinda confused at the bundle verbiage. like, "its ONLY i digital download?" it got to the point 2-3 years ago where there was a good formula... pre order bundle/physical> free single or> free digital download of album on street date of you can have the music now and the physical later. this band probably isn't making artery enough money to justify a legit physical yet... but still could do a physical with a paper sleeve... they should know metalhead like to collect shit. how are you supposed to show off a digital file of their first album 16 years later if this band breaks up? hahahaha
I thought the preorder came with a physical and was really confused when my order came and it was only the shirt, lol. I wanted to get the CD signed and put it up on my wall in a frame with other band stuff I've been collecting. ;( (I got a logo sticker of theirs signed, though.)

Warner handpicked the bands on the roster they wanted to keep and those that they kept are now at Warner, either with new albums or upcoming ones. Sadly, most didn't make it. From what I hear the label was sold for dirt cheap to Warner so Warner could make their funds back by cutting all staff and just keeping a few bands.
Does anybody know exactly what that sample is that triggers with the snare on parts like 0:17? Kind of sounds like a pipe with a lot of reverb, but would love to know more.
