So what is the last episode of One Piece you have currently watched?
cause this is june2 and your opener was fools day april1... not close at all.
Makes me think your about 30 episodes ahead... but not sure I am guessing wrong.
@@zacheryschmidt2611 LOL so what? he will get the information eventually anyways! a GOOD amount of the patrons are there for one piece at this point man.. it won at 97% for the last vote in long standing anime and has won for the last 3 consecutive votes. i doubt!! DOUBT that it would lose any time soon! It WILL be explained in extent later on and there are multiple instances where “mantra” happens again. it’s called world building. different areas call it different things. that’s why this world is so great. like i said just let it be explained by itself yea? btw i DO plan on voting for G8
@@mk9beatz Thanks to you I avoided the comments and when I saw the childish back and forth from him I banned him from the channel. Saying stuff like your mom doesn't love you when you're asking him not spoil things is incredibly childish -__-
If there's one thing I think anyone can appreciate about One Piece, it's that Oda makes every character feel important, Luffy doesn't eclipse everyone and it means when they get separated you do want to know what they're doing.

"Luffy of all people". Luffy is actually very good when it comes to other people's emotions and is very emotionally intelligent. So don't be surprised if you see Luffy do this kind of things in the future.
Skypiea is such an underrated arc man. The PRESENCE of those first 2 attacks from “God” ALONE makes this one of the best villain “introductions” (if you can call it that) in the series imo
The music that accompanies those two attacks just elevate the scenes to immeasurable levels of epicness and tension. One of the best tracks in the series, and I genuinely thought it was a classic piece, like "Symphony No.9" is used in the final battle of Crocodile. But no, turns out it's an original from the anime, called "Difficult", and every single instance of the series where it's used, it's a powerful scene that remains in the fans' memories
Fun fact: Chopper’s Voice actress also voices Pikachu in both the English and Japanese dub.
my favorite detail about this part of one piece is if you listen carefully how Robin addresses the crew you can notice she doesn't really accepted the crew yet and calls everybody by profession "mister bushido aka zoro" but later when she finally accepts them as real friends she calls everybody by name

35:18 - Something of note is that Robin never calls anyone but Luffy by name. Without spoiling too much, there is a reason and it will show her character growth in the future.

This whole arc is great. Everything is huge! The new powers, the new skills, the new villians, and such an odd location. Things are that hinted at here will be important for ages! I cannot wait to see your reaction to”god”.
The frist/second appearance of another one of one piece's power systems first because it is the first time we are seeing this version of it and second because it's part of a bigger power system that was first used in the luffy flashback.
Oh so this isn’t really a spoiler since it’s never mentioned in the anime. It’s only mentioned in the manga and even then it’s in a faq with Oda, he said that if the main villain of this arc had a bounty it would be 500 million. Do with that what you will.
The split adventure in the Upper Yard is just some excellent comedy from One Piece; fun, silly, but there's still that undertone of urgency, threat and the unknown, like the mystery hits you like a truck - this is earth, on a sky island, it came from below - then there's Impacts, and Mantra.
Seriously how can people skip Skypeia?

I love watching you love One Piece it's so entertaining! Especially you growing fonder of the crew bc honestly that's what this show is all about imo the characters are truly truly the heart of the show, and they struck gold with their VA's as well they just fit them to a T. And then on top of that there's Oda's insane big brain writing going on so yeah lmao can't ever go wrong hehe :) Loved the vid as always, and take care dude!

I love how they take a more nuanced response of tackling false prophets instead of saying religion is stupid and we're going to punch actually God in the face like a lesser show would. Instead, they say that guy is not a God. You should test every prophet. Even the Bible says to do this. It's not an insult to religion because following a lie is dangerous and you shouldn't let people go on believing lies it just makes it hurt worse when you are faced with the truth.

Have you ever tried One Piece? It is a bit odd to make the pateron claim here, on a video about a topic you are "highly said" about. You dont try to disprove a single point of the video, either, so i doubt you even watched it to see if your preconceptions were wrong.
Yes, One Piece does not match the standard art style of the "anime movement", but it is one of if not the most popular manga/anime in the world for a reason. The saturday morning cartoon style was chose for a reason, and underneath all the preconceived notions the style brings is a show about a found family of misfits on a world shaping globe trotting adventure. It also has the "unique" appeal of the world moving even in the absence of the protagonists, which is so rarely done as well as it is here. Then there are the darker elements which only become more common as the series goes on and grows up with its audience (luffy eventually learns more self control while letting his emotional maturity come forward more often, just as one example), and it is really hard to excuse topics like forced servitude and enslavement as "kiddie stories" (yes, one piece goes there on multiple occasions with different degrees of severity).
