      @@317BIGred4238 I cut my natural nails, filed the free edge, pushed my cuticles back, cut my cuticles, buffed the surface of my nails. Cleaned off the dust with rubbing alcohol, applied dehydrator on my natural nails then applied primer on my natural nails. Buffed the inside of the nail tips after finding my size. Glued those on, buffed the surface as well as getting rid of excess oozing then polished with gel polish. ♥️

    I work as a online personal shopper for a huge company. My job I'm battering my hands and nails. I've had acrylics done and they always lift off. I bought this kit and had my nails on for about 5 days now. No sign of lifting or no damage. They are going strong. Honestly so impressed. Note: turn the lamp so that the open and is facing away from you and it will make it a lot easier to put your open hands under the lamp. You will then have to lift your hands over the top of the lamp and bring it in towards the solid part that should be now facing you. Or, only hold the nail tip and place the open part of them lamp facing 3 o'clock...switch the open part of the lamp to face 9 oclock when you do the opposite hand. Hope that helps.

    What tips would you recommend for someone with super flat nails. My daughter wants me to make her some press ons but she wants to use nail glue and not the gel to adhere them. In other words she just basically doesn't want to sit still long enough for me to do her nails with cute designs and just wants to be able to glue em on and go🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️😒. Every nail I've tried so far are all sculpted at least to some degree.

    • @LuxeNailsbyJen
      @LuxeNailsbyJen  3 года назад +1

      The only thing I can think is that maybe the nails are too long. The longer the nail the more sculpted it is. Or you could try putting a couple layers of nail polish on to thicken the nail. This will decrease the distance between her natural nail and the tips. If all else fails I wonder if some place like clairs would have nails for little girls that aren’t too sculpted. Let me know if any of this helps.

    Are the full coverage nail tips dissolvable in acetone? Like soft gel tips?

  • @TotallyKayla
    @TotallyKayla 3 года назад +5

    All tips are plastic. Even the ones that say they're "soft gel". It's just a different type of plastic.
    Also all base coats can be used as slipped solution for polygel. Just so you know.

  • @boujeegyalaxy5368
    @boujeegyalaxy5368 Год назад

    To me it’s basically base coat. I use base coat to apply my full cover tips the gelx way and they last. I have 2 friends that I did their nail using base coat to apply and it’s been 3 weeks no lifting. I just soaked off my 3 weeks nail

    Question: what’s the difference between gel x nails and plastic full nails ?

    • @LuxeNailsbyJen
      @LuxeNailsbyJen  2 года назад +1

      So from what I’ve researched and other on here have told me, all tips are basically plastic and gel. I guess what really matters is the chemical make up and how exactly they are made. Confused, me too 😆. I guess some are just made stronger and better.

    • @AaronW-ww4ds
      @AaronW-ww4ds 2 года назад

      Plastic ones are made from ABS where as actual gelly tips are made out of soft gel which is the kiara sky ones which is why theyre more flexible with the natural nail where ABS doesnt have much flex

  • @ilovenails1276
    @ilovenails1276 3 года назад +5

    Wait why they said they aren’t real gel that’s crazy because these are literally the exact same as kiara sky jelly tips I have both and compared them yesterday when I got my Beetles package they are literally the same exact nail length width and everything!! 🤔
    I’m definitely only buying the Beetles nails for 10 bucks now instead of 30+ shipping for Kiara sky🤷🏻‍♀️

    • @LuxeNailsbyJen

After emailing them like three times and writing on their insta (with a bunch of other people that had the same issue, that btw they later on deleted all comments) they send me other package that took another 10-12 days, I just got it the other day and when I opened it, there was two of each??? Like they just find my old order and just packed everything together.

    How do you reccomend to remove these nails?

    • @LuxeNailsbyJen
      @LuxeNailsbyJen  3 года назад +1

      You just trim them, file the top surface, then soak a cotton pad or pad in 100%acetone then wrap with foil. It may take anywhere from 10-30 minutes but it should turn into like a flakey mush. Then you can scrape it off with an orange wood stick or cuticle pusher. I have a video coming out soon 😄

    You shouldn’t make statements That aren’t facts, because I never file the inside and most time when I do gel x nails I only prep my nail and I dehydrate with alcohol or acetone and they last 3 sometime 4 weeks im having a hard time getting these 4 week old gel x nails off that was placed with all the shine in the original nails so don’t say that just because you prefer not file them 🙄

    • @LuxeNailsbyJen
      @LuxeNailsbyJen  3 года назад +15

      If that works for you great! Unfortunately, I have noticed that my nails do not last without filing the inside. In addition, the seller on Amazon stated it is not necessary to use a dehydrator or primer, however, they still recommend using it for the best adhesion. Everyone’s method may be different. What works for one person may not work for another. Thanks for watching!
