- The Rock Worm Caddis is an imitative pattern meant to copy the rock worms which are very prevalent in my local streams. Caddis make up a huge part of the trouts diet and having patterns to match them is important. I like to tie this pattern and fish it in a few different colors. I tie the pattern with the natural latex Nymph-Rap and change the color with a Sharpie marker. I mainly tie them in Natural, Green, and Brown.
This video is also featuring our new line of hooks we are carrying in the shop. We are adding a few new styles of hooks to join our HFS Jig Hooks. This weeks video features the new Nymph/Emerger hook. We are also adding a Scud/Pupa, Nymph, All Purpose Nymph, and Dry Fly Hook. We think you will really like these hooks and are proud to now offer them. Check out the new hooks and all the other materials needed to tie this pattern and others at our website www.holsingers.... Thanks for watching.
