Excellent tour thanks for sharing. 💪🤙👍 it's refreshing to see a van build on such a unique platform. This hiace is reminiscent of a bygone era, classic vw van, but still with it's own personality. Looking forward to seeing more of your adventures and your van. 👍🤙💪🌟🏆
Sorry if you guys have answered this already but what size if your bed/mattress? It’s it’s not a standard double size are you able to give me measurements? Contemplating if this layout would suit me! Thank you! Great build, the finer details for aesthetic were well worth it!
Just discovered your channel. Great content and a great job you two. I love to see people of your age doing this sort of stuff. You are both very inspirational enjoy the exploring the great country we live in.
@@pippaknuckle Technically they are a Fulltime 4WD as they use the Aisin 340F (F designates 4WD) auto which from what I've read was also used in the Sequioa, Tundra, Tacoma, Hilux and Surf. But correct no low range or diff locks. I loved my one, planted, very competent and would tow anything, and a completely different animal to the insipid and get stuck anywhere 2WD petrols.
Looks very nice. There seems to be different Hiace versions. The Hiace here in europe seems all have a long front and others worldwide a blunt nose. Do you know if it is because of different engines? Or are they the same?
Excellent wood working job guys! Congrats for this van build!👌🏼 Love the simple shower solution for this small van. It is a great inspiration for my oldie Toyota hiace 1995 4x4 van build coming up👍🏼
Hi, car dealers in Brisbane are selling Japan import vans, any issues with warranties in Australia as there is no history on the car in OZ ? Love your van !!
Very nicely done, but huge mistake with the laminated flooring in my opinion. Hope you have luck with it, but ive personally never seen laminated flooring working for longer than a year in a camper
Excellent job looks great. I'm doing same with my 4wd Hiace. Nearly ready to go. Should leave for my many year trip in August. And time is dragging on😭🍻
Great to follow your build, very well done and great video editing for us to enjoy the experience. I may have missed it, but where did you purchase the van?
No point when there's a bench seat built in behind them already, but that would be a good idea to free up space ( but then they wouldn't have the pull out kitchen)
Awesome build, really enjoyed the series as well. I'm starting a build with almost the exact same layout on an 03 hiace. Albeit with about 1/10th of the craftsmanship!
Really nice quality build guys ..congratulations you should be really proud 👏. For me, i need walk through, as being a single gal its important for my safety but for two people yours is lovely 😍.
Thanks so much! We totally agree - you can actually fold down the middle seat & climb into the cabin. It's not necessarily as easy as walking through, but hopefully you wouldn't need to do it too often!
Loving this layout!! We are in the middle of re-doing our Hiace setup as it's still used as a work van but we love seeing other campervan setups in these types of vans! Would love a 4x4 setup esp in Aus! You guys did such an awesome job, well done! 🙌
Toilet? In the boonies of Australia with the Brown snakes and assorted creepy-crawlies (many of which end up in town as well) there's no way I'm going in nature. 😬......Love the hanging wardrobe by the way.....
It actually looks like you don't live there! Everything empty. It's a bit sterile and impersonal. Would be nice if you shared how you actually live in the van, with the things, where you store all the spices and little things etc. Also the practive
Hey guys, do you mind sharing how much the build roughly cost all up? thanks
It's a very clear, light and professional design! Bravo. Happy travels!
Great job guys!

Great van build and tour guys ,you can tell you really thought about the layout and the finish is top spec thank you for sharing Ron.👍
Thanks so much Ron!! 😄
It looks beautiful, although the weight of all that wood is going to increase the petrol consumption...
Beautiful build. Happy travels.

Awesome job guys you inspired me to do my Hiace

Just discovered your channel. Great content and a great job you two. I love to see people of your age doing this sort of stuff. You are both very inspirational enjoy the exploring the great country we live in.
Stunning work.
Nice job. Those 4x4 Hiace's are the best.
Are they really 4WD though? Or are they just AWD ? No low range, no diff locks?

Hey guys, great build, we have a 4wd hiace mid rood wide body, where did you get the water tank that’s under the bed?
5:25 Are these server rack rails?
Looks very nice. There seems to be different Hiace versions. The Hiace here in europe seems all have a long front and others worldwide a blunt nose.
Do you know if it is because of different engines? Or are they the same?
Would you consider a built in fan or AC unit? Obviously you'd require more solar & bigger battery unit.
Awesome build guys. Great job 👍🏼👌🏼
Thanks heaps!!
Thanks for sharing your beautiful campervan so practical design
Looks very neat,great job
great job, very nice. Question: what ist the total weight of the Van now?
Quite nice set up! How did you go regarding electrical install and getting it re-registered as a campervan? Cheers
Awesome setup 🎉
Stunning that, love the black contrast with the wood 😎👌🏼
We're so stoked with how it came up!
Excellent wood working job guys! Congrats for this van build!👌🏼 Love the simple shower solution for this small van.

Great to follow your build, very well done and great video editing for us to enjoy the experience. I may have missed it, but where did you purchase the van?

how do you find the low roof?
Does this car has passenger airbag?
Nice set up would be nicer if you told us how much different things cost especially the power set up
love the build! where did you guys get that ceiling timber from? looks great
Make the driver and co driver seat rotatable and you will get more space to sit
No point when there's a bench seat built in behind them already, but that would be a good idea to free up space ( but then they wouldn't have the pull out kitchen)
Beautiful van ❤️👏🍻
Thank you!
How much did it cost?

Thank you!

Wawoooo goood
Why the empty space between base floor & built in floor?
i am from Bangladesh ❤
🔥
I remember when owning a van was just about having a mattress and a bbq and a surfboard. This is overkill.
Each to their own digger
