If any of you picked Extreme difficulty and find you can't move forward in the story to get gear cause the 3 portal cards you need for story progression are in dungeons with 90-100+ lvl enemies and you only got lvl 40-45 gear there is a trick you can do. You can pick a new Abeyance realm with the portal but set the difficulty to medium. You'll end up in a realm with the same dungeons but now the enemies will be a lvl you can handle in the crummy gear and you won't get two shot by large mobs. This will allow you to get the Astrolabe card and slowly gear will unlock as you do the story missions and unlock gear like refined work benches. Eventually you can get the gear to take on the dungeons in your original extreme realm but if it is still too tough just go to an easier Abeyance realm again. You don't need to start the game over.

@@killsheep I don't mind extreme. Just would be nice to craft gear other than rags. I unlocked the cards so finally getting better equipment. It's funny cause I have T2 and T4 resources yet can't use most of it. Oh, well. No rush. Home still in extreme realm and making progress.

Gear score became meaningless when you can fuse materials to do overkill damage that one shots...
Accidentally made a revolver that did 20,000 damage when upgraded to epic, instead of 5500 when normal... Lol.
I think crit damage broke because I did 300k.
Wanted to make a jacket and a backpack with massive inventory capacity but I somehow made the world's heaviest jacket and backpack...

What all did you use to achieve that?

There's several, but it's based on how far you get and what sort of facilities you unlocked.
The key focus is combining materials and then 'reclaiming' the original base material off of it, like say crafting metal objects then smelting back into ingots.
There's a reclaim for Metals, and reclaim or using 'foil/coated paper' for Wood/Metal transferring of stats.
When you do coating, you can apply stats to wood using fabric, which is made of fiber, which can also be made up of animal fiber from raw meat from bosses or end game mobs.
I'm trying different ways to see if I can combine stats to pass over, you gotta be careful because too many ingot conversions and the weight on the item increases massively, but I offset this by simply making a super backpack, so I ended up with over 1000 weight capacity.
When you make guns that dish out far more damage than their description can do, it also has their weight increase proportionally too.

By 'extreme' difficulty of gear level 220 realms, you kinda do need to do around 10k damage per shot or hit, or otherwise the mobs takes forever to kill because they have like 50-60k hp. Fortunately some people min/maxed way harder than I did and can do millions of damage.

@@dra6o0n wtf i never understood the reclaimed wood, so thats what thats for? also I was reading and some guys found out that you cant add other stats that dont already exist on the base stats. so if a piece of gear doesnt have range, using pursuit metal will not add that stat. can you confirm this?

      @@Viinan 12 Paper + Coating
      10 Coating = 1 Fabric stats
Fabric = 12 Animal Fibre, from raw meat being converted into Fibre.
The process at the Excellent Sawmill lets you turn Coated Paper into Coated Paper by re-applying coating on it from the 2nd to the 10th time.
The key here is to find the materials that helps you apply that stat there.
Swamp Harpies gives movement speed and stealth bonus, if you can go to a high level one and get a level 2 or level 3 Harpy raw meat and hide, you need 24 of them to turn them into 12 animal fibre, then 6 each to turn into refined fibre, then 2 refined fibre into fabric.
Then at a Excellent Mortar Station, the fiber can be turned into 10 coating, which can be applied to a stack of 12 paper, over and over and over again. You can go further if you have a crap ton of raw meat in general and add every single stat you can imagine.
