You might find David Draiman's discussions on his issues interesting.
He had an endoscopic cinch operation to try and fix his oesophageal sphincter which, sadly, ruptured later on and failed.
Think he's on a permanent course of Proton Pump Inhibitors alongside diet, raising head in bed and other things.
Nexium / Prevacid / Prilosec might be useful intermittently. Available over the counter.
Interesting. Didn't know Draiman has these issues. He always sounds pretty healthy

Cheers, at the moment I seem to be able to control with diet but only if I'm very strict and very hungry before I sleep.
@@BecomingANaturalSinger You may want to consider purchasing a pillow to raise your head and neck a bit so that gravity helps keep the acid down when you're prone.
I have a wedge pillow that works well.
I cured myself of my Silent Reflux by doing 3 things. (1) I elevated the head of my bed with 4" blocks placed under the 2 legs. (2) I threw out the Omeprazole that my doctor had prescribed. (3) Four times a day, I drank a cup of water containing 1 tablespoon of Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar. I got my singing voice back in 6 days!

Bro which is the best sound or syllable for pitch practice as a beginner? "Aah" sound doesn't seem right!
it varies from person to person, for me it's light edge.
After getting reflux What would you say you ardently desire the most .
Not sure I understand the question, if you mean what helps the most stop it? Eating large meals before bed is most important, I leave at least 4 - 6 hours and have a small dinner now.
@@BecomingANaturalSinger sorry what I meant was whats your biggest desire would it be to completely get rid of reflux or get it under better control for me it would be to be able to eat the foods I most enjoy although they may be triggers and still be reflux free
