Many people are breaking away from this madness nowadays, because it's

The confusion many of us are suffering from is that we have unquestioningly accepted the European conception of god; a jealous, vindictive, psychopath who slaughters the entire population of the earth except a 600 hundred year old drunk and his sons because he made a mistake. In central-east Africa where I come from, the first western missionaries couldn’t baptize anyone unless they accepted to carry a new name chosen from a list of white names (whose bearers were also called saints in Roman Catholic Church) while African names were called pagan names or names of satanists. The tradition still exist in all over Africa today, while in the West no single white carries African names not even those of our soccer stars, musicians or respected intellectuals and statemen. My grandpa refused that gospel.

As you rightly said, no westerner ( white boy) carries a black African names.Yet almost all black Africans prefer to give themselves and their children white man's names. This practices is very disturbing because it reinforces the superiority of the white man over the black man.Having said that , you should not be quick to blame the white man for this African stupidity and inferiority complex. Blame the black man himself for refusing to liberate his mind from the mental enslavement imposed on him by his colonial slave masters. As a Polynesian (Tongan) from a Small Island in The South Pacific. The Missionaries came and brought the “good news”. With that we have forgotten some our traditions because we were told they were “Devilish” and God Dislikes this but listening to Bishop Talk opens my eyes. Our island has been influenced so much by Christianity that we have adopted the Cross in to our Flag and our colors are in Red and Wite because the Blood of Jesus(Red) saved us.

Democracy is one legacy of the Greek Empire still with us, and the relatively common Asian name, Khan (meaning ruler), is said to trace it's origin to the Mongol Empire, and two well known rulers of the Mongol Empire, namely, Genghis Khan and Kublai Khan. At minute 9:21 Joshua Maponga mentions "Ubuntu," "Chama cha Mapinduzi," "Ujamaa" and "Sankofa" as four ideals, four teachings, that have their origins in Ancient Africa. However "Chama cha Mapinduzi" and "Ujamaa" are much much more recent to Africa, than "Ubuntu" and "Sankofa." "Chama cha Mapinduzi" and "Ujamaa" are actually specific to Tanzania in East Africa, which neighbours Kenya, where I am from. Before 1964, Tanzania (officially known as the United Republic of Tanzania), was two separate countries, namely Tanganyika and Zanzibar (Zanzibar is an archipelago of islands). Tanganyika attained independence in 1961, and Zanzibar attained independence in 1963. Zanzibar was a British Protectorate from 1890 to 1963. Mainland Tanzania/Tanganyika, was a German Protectorate between 1891 and 1918, and was known as German East Africa between 1891 and 1918.
Germany lost World War I of 1914 to 1918, and at the Treaty of Versailles of 28th June 1919, German East Africa was handed to Belgium and Britain to administer of behalf the League of Nations (what we today know as the United Nations). The League of Nations existed from 1920 to 1946, and was replaced by the United Nations (UN) in 1946.
Present day Rwanda and Burundi, initially part of German East Africa, was between 1922 and 1962, one country known as Ruanda-Urundi. Belgium, on behalf of the League of Nations, administered Ruanda-Urundi from 1922 to 1946, and Belgium also administered Ruanda-Urundi from 1946 to 1962, on behalf of the United Nations.
Tanganyika, also initially part of German East Africa, was administered by Britain (on behalf of the League of Nations), from 1922 to 1946, and was also administered by Britain (on behalf of the United Nations), from 1946 to 1961.
Julius Nyerere and the Tanganyika African National Union (TANU) led Tanganyika to independence on 9th December 1961. Tanganyika and Zanzibar became one nation, the United Republic of Tanganyika and Zanzibar, on 26th April 1964, becoming the United Republic of Tanzania on 1st November 1964. Upon the unification of Tanganyika and Zanzibar, the Tanganyika African National Union (TANU) became the Tanzania African National Union (TANU).
The Arusha Declaration of 5th February 1967 introduced "Ujamaa" (Socialism) to Tanzania/the United Republic of Tanzania, the reason I state above that "Chama cha Mapinduzi" and "Ujamaa" are much much more recent to Africa than "Ubuntu" and "Sankofa."
On 5th February 1977, the Tanzania African National Union (TANU) and Zanzibar's Afro-Shirazi Party (ASP) merged to become "Chama cha Mapinduzi (CCM)," also mentioned above at minute 9:21 by Joshua Maponga. "Chama cha Mapinduzi" is Kiswahili for "The Revolutionary Party" or "The Party of Revolution." "Chama cha Mapinduzi (CCM)" has governed Tanzania/the United Republic of Tanzania, since it's formation on 5th February 1977.
However "Chama cha Mapinduzi (CCM)" began phasing out "Ujamaa" (Socialism) in 1985 and began embracing Capitalism more and more, such that by around the late 1990s, Tanzania had just about fully embraced Capitalism.
The evolution of Tanzania from "Ujamaa" (Socialism) to Capitalism, is similar to the evolution of China from Communism to Capitalism, is similar to the evolution of Cuba from Communism to Capitalism, and is similar to the evolution of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) from Communism to Capitalism, in what replaced the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR), the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), being what replaced the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR).

The key aspect of Christianity is being Spirit led. That is why the Bible says, "God is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth. He on the other hand is arguing materialistic and physical aspects of religion maybe correctly so because there are false prophets, teachers even early missionaries who use such to decieve many people especially Africans.
However materialistic and physical things do not essentially define Christianity. For example he mentions a white Jesus but any mature Christian who studied the Scripture will know the pictures of the white Jesus are Catholic creation and do not necessarily align with the identity of Jesus Christ and yet in Christianity there is neither Jew, Greek nor Gentile, neither black or white because we are led by the Spirit who sees us as one.

We are also commended to first test the spirit to see if its from God in 1 John 4:1.
It is therefore important to have the gift of discernment of the spirit and that gift is by the Holy Spirit.
My personal experience is that you also need to be rooted on the Word of God. When a spirit directs you to do something, you simply check if that is consistent with the Word of God and if it's not consistent with the Word then you know it's familiar spirits. The Holy Spirit will never contradict the Word of God.

Concerning calling the God is our ancestors, which "God", the Hebrew called and pray to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob we need to bear in mind I believe, they called on a God their forefathers worshiped and called upon. They called upon this God to recognize the God in world around them that worshiped other Gods so if my Father worshiped YAHEW then yes I will pray to the God of my father who is the same God I worship and believe in.
Christianity in its essence is linked to Christ Jesus, being a Christian is not based on how you do certain things but purely based on your faith and result of your faith in the saving work of Jesus.

But also not providing clear practical solutions.He's not saying we must worship African gods or ancestors, he says we must recognize our heritage, but how does this look like in the morden society?
