Absolutely. HD is so overrated I'm pissed at all the money I gave them for inferior stuff. Don't get me wrong I never rode a bike I didn't like, but HD is yesterday's tech at tomorrow's price.

Getting a 2020 this week. Still have my victory but this is the style I always wanted but didn't want to be uncomfortable while riding. Hearing good reviews has pushed me to pull the trigger. Thanks for your contribution to my riding happiness. Stay safe bud.
Great video. I rode three different Harleys from 1999 - 2009; so gave them up when I was 47 years old. At that time I moved to northwest of Atlanta where the mountains begin. You never knew what was gonna pop out over the next hill or around the next bend. Lots of deer and people braking for squirrels. I kinda lost my nerve. I was a daily rider, all kinds of whether and would ride 20-25 thousand miles a year. I sold my last Harley and got a truck and boat instead. Now I am 58 and thinking the Fury is a bike I would like to ge back on. But you are right - you haftA be on the lookout constantly for the other drivers out there. Thanks for making this video.
Hey S Cruz, I got a 2013 Honda Fury in May of 2019. The last bike I owned was in 1997, so it had been 22 years since I rode a bike. I'm 60 years old now and don't regret it one bit. Be Safe and watch out for the other guy.
I've had them all at one time or another, kawasaki, yamaha, suzuki, honda, harley, big dog chopper, american iron horse chopper, and now a victory. Cant say that one has been better than the other. Except for the two chopper models, I wouldn't recommend them. Now they say the fury is a lot better ride compared to the choppers I had and I can believe that. Bottom line is ride what feels good for you, Stay safe and keep the wind in your face.
My wife rode with me for the five years before we got married. It wasn’t often but if I asked she came along. After we got married she told me she was never getting on any motorcycle again. I’ve always been happiest riding by myself. Go as fast and far as you want to without anyone beating on your helmet.
Very nice review!....I am 56 years old and haven't ridden any bikes for about 30 years and after seeing this bike a few years ago I am totally in love with the look and the great reviews people are giving them...They seem very dependable and built really good so I am going to get up the courage to go take some riding lessons to get back into the groove and maybe go test ride one of these bad boys...Stay safe!
Just picked up a 2010 Silver with only 12k miles on it today. Logged a hundred miles on it after leaving the dealership. It just felt like the perfect thing to do. They're amazing machines.
Great Review coming from an owner's perspective. I have a 2010 Fury and have to say, just as you have, that I love riding this bike just as much or more than the other 3 bikes that I currently own. Quick, smooth and just a pure pleasure to ride!
got my 2019 Fury in feb 19. Have rode it from charlotte nc to jersey city nj and back as well as nc to the keys/back. Only mod is mini boards and risers. Only complaint is small 3.3 tank. But I dont ride long distance often so...all good. Im thinking about a touring bike now as Id like to head on some long rides west but im definately keeping the fury. My american brand rider friends all like the look and stopped poking fun at it once they rode it. Now has 8600 miles after 20 months. FURY ON!!!

Good video and definitely a cool bike. Thanks for being honest and passing on the wisdom.Enjoy the wind and freedom.Brand of bike makes no difference on the wind or freedom.👍👍🇺🇸
I had a white and black fury, Love it, so easy and beautiful to ride, wish I'd have kept it. it was loaded.easy to move, smooth to ride.,. cobra pipes., only problem I had ,the handlebars were not back far enough for me to feel comfortable. I enjoyed riding it anyway. I will try an Indian next..
I own a Harley Super Glide, Honda ST1100, and BMW R1150GS and trust me...you made a good choice of Honda over Harley. Its all hype and nothing more. Believe me I was that HD asshole for years, you got a winner and don't let the HD fanboys sway you. I'm thinking about getting rid of my HD and going this route.
I have an 07 Harley Dyna that looks almost exactly like this Fury, it has a racked front end and the same headlight, although I have a bigger gas tank and more power. I paid $6,000 for it, can't beat that price. I can ride my Harley for 10 years and will still be able to sell it for $6,000 (or more). I'm like the other Harley guys, I can't get over the Honda name on these choppers. If you really want to confuse the new bikers you can buy a Fury and put Harley emblems on the gas tank LOL. My question is why didn't Harley put out a chopper that looks like a Big Dog or a Fury but has a soft tail frame instead of a hard tail frame, one that you can actually ride long distance? Seems like it would be a great seller. I really want a nice chopper like a Big Dog but I don't want a bike without suspension LOL.
They did.. The rocker c. I was raised by bikers. Harleys galore. And i will say they have nicer material, greater resale value, and a historucal nostalgia factor, youll never get the ride, or the reliability that you will over honda quality.
Man it's hard to say really. The fury is easy to ride and handles great I would recommend test riding several bikes and seeing what suits you best. I'm 5'8 and the fury feels like it would be better suited for someone bigger than I am, but your a lot bigger lol. It's a big decision try them all.
I'm 6'4" and I've had mine 6 1/2 years. My ass hurt after about 30 miles because of the angle of my knees. They do make a kit that move the pedals forward about 4". Just ordered them. I'll let you know if it makes a difference over long rides
Awesome man best of luck with it and be safe. Here in KY I saw on the news 26 people have been killed on bikes this year already. And I saw that over a week ago, people just so crazy on the roads anymore.
Bout to pay off my 2017 custom fury. Don Guhl tune is a must have and turns the bike into a whole different beast! I absolutely love my bike. I could care less about the harley honda haters either. Other than my dead battery, this thing has been solid and problem free.
I have a 2010 honda fury . Never had any problem with it . Its fuel injected so it can seat in my garage for months and start right up . Very nice looking bike and rides smooth and the best thing is its reliability and cheaper .
I am looking at upgrading my bike to a 2016 Fury, my concern is storage, how do you carry stuf...for longer rides? I noticed that Viking bags don't have the Fury listed.
I carry a backpack, I've found no good looking options for using this bike as a commuter or for touring. One of the guys commented on this video with a link that shows a windshield and some bags that look pretty nice though.
You can put stuff in your pocket. Chopper is a minimalist thing not really a tour bike. You can get a saddle bag or even a little basket on the front . but that's not the chopper vibe. Can ya dig it.
i'm throwing a duffle bag over my shoulder. should pick up a armystyle big backpack. but the duffle is working pretty good. it rests on the back seat and so i don't really feel it unless it swivels around or catches some wind. also check out fury forums. there's some mods for a single side satchel or something like that. also, some companies make hard shell saddlebags... not bad looking if the colors match
This bike bone stock is very comfortable for me, I'm 5'9 180lbs. I've ridden it on one 10 hour day ride and several around 200-300 mile rides. Backpack is a must though. Thanks for watching and stay safe, the roads are more dangerous today than ever.
I Have this bike but in red. I've had it for 3 years now and love it. I got it used with Cobra pipes on it and it sounds great. Other than that I put a Corban King Queen seet on it and a sisssy bar bag. Awesome ride on long and shot hauls.
Thanks for the great ownership review. I would caution against buys a Harley, considering that you have never owned one. I have and loved it. That said, the cost of the bike is just the admission fee. You will want to personalize the bike and wind up spending thousands more on it, guaranteed. I can no longer ride due to a non-related injury, but I would happily buy a Fury if I could ride. The bikes already look custom and unique. I have gone down on a bike, so I recommend wearing a helmet. ( Skid lid).
Thank you Sir, I've been on my Fury a lot the past few weeks and after the winter months it's always great getting started back riding. I'm certainly keeping my Fury it will probably be with me until I'm done, I really enjoy it. Thanks for the advise I've always been pretty good at making the most of what I have and the Fury is easy to love.
Thanks for the long term review. I've been wanting one since it came out. I daily drive a Honda GB500, great bike, but I need something heavier to deal with the high winds. Can you shoot a video of how the Fury handles on the freeway? Cheers and be safe!
Awesome man thanks for watching. On the interstate this bike does great in traffic. A windshield makes interstate riding so much better though, Memphis Shades makes them for the Fury now. Cheers and be safe!!
@@pleasejoe Oh I saw these, I love these but they are very expensive. I think the fairing was like 1200 bucks, or maybe that was for the bags also. They look awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Hey man your in my neck of the woods I just bought my first bike it’s a 19 fury bought it in June holler at me if you want to take a trip bud be careful
Had over 30 bikes up to 1800cc. None have come close to my Fury. I don't want anything but a Fury from now on. Everything just meshes so well from torque, gear box etc. The reliability isn't even a mention because nothing ever goes wrong - ever
The Honda windscreen is the only one that looks decent. Otherwise no speakers either. I had to eliminate the cannon headlight also. Scored a VN customs seat that is going on soon, at paint right now. And I have plans for that radiator. Nice bike.
Consider always being in the market. Nothing wrong with having more than one. Sell the one you find that you don’t ride. Repeat. If you apply yourself, all of your riding can be paid for this way. And nothing wrong with having 2 keepers either.
God damn I want one. Maybe cafe racers aren't for me. I'm 6'5 and 350lbs annealing over on an old cb650 is great but good lord this bike fit like a glove.
Keep the Honda. If you buy a Harley the maintenance for it will by far cost you more than the bike cost. The Fury is an awesome machine. yours is beautiful.

I'm about 180lbs and haven't touched any settings on mine. Congrats on the bike, be safe and enjoy.
Fork seals are easy to do, don’t spend the 300 to have the dealer do it, if you have any kind of skill just do it yourself
Good video and definitely a cool bike. Thanks for being honest and passing on the wisdom.Enjoy the wind and freedom.Brand of bike makes no difference on the wind or freedom.👍👍🇺🇸
Thanks man appreciate it and I couldn't agree more about the wind of freedom.
I keep finding ppl saying to use 87 fuel- what do you think and also what have you used in your bike for fuel?
I use cheapest shell gas always, 87 I think it is no issues at all.
Thanks man, they all make nice bikes just have be safe and enjoy.
Because the Penny Pinchers at Harley-Davidsons didn't want to spend the money for customers comfort. I'd rather have a Honda.
They did.. The rocker c. I was raised by bikers. Harleys galore. And i will say they have nicer material, greater resale value, and a historucal nostalgia factor, youll never get the ride, or the reliability that you will over honda quality.
Would the Fury be a good choice for a tall rider? I'm 6'7" 230lbs looking to purchase my first bike.
@@tmoulton66 awesome thanks man
@@tmoulton66 what's the verdict?
@@MechInvent Made a ugh difference. They work great for me. I think you will be ok with your extra three inches
Nice bike. I'm looking at a blue 2016 Fury right now. Only 7500 miles on it. If it's there in another month I will get it.
Awesome man best of luck with it and be safe. Here in KY I saw on the news 26 people have been killed on bikes this year already. And I saw that over a week ago, people just so crazy on the roads anymore.
Thanks man. I’m really looking at this bike hard and the new rebel 1100
Bout to pay off my 2017 custom fury. Don Guhl tune is a must have and turns the bike into a whole different beast! I absolutely love my bike. I could care less about the harley honda haters either. Other than my dead battery, this thing has been solid and problem free.
Awesome man, couldn't agree more. Enjoy your bike and be safe.
I would love to turn around and see this bike in my garage.
I've owned Harleys. I think you made a good choice. Looks sharp. 👌
Thanks man, I still have this bike and love it.
How do you guys feel about this bike as a first bike?
Those colours look great
I'm 5ft 6 inch with a 30 inch pants length. Could I ride this bike. Thanks.
Appreciate your review, definitely getting one now lol
Thanks man awesome. Be safe and enjoy.
I just traded my 2016 Harley Street Glide Special for a Fury and I couldn’t be happier!!
That's awesome man, I'm still enjoying mine. Be safe and enjoy!!!
I have a 2010 honda fury . Never had any problem with it . Its fuel injected so it can seat in my garage for months and start right up . Very nice looking bike and rides smooth and the best thing is its reliability and cheaper .
I rode mine yesterday and agree, they are hard to beat overall.
I've had a fury from 2008 they are awesome love the ride it's better then my 2009 CVO dyna.
There are now saddle bags made just for the Fury. There is a youtube video showing them. Forget the mfg. name.
Is this bike comfortable for longer trips? Like, 6-8 hour road trips?
This bike bone stock is very comfortable for me, I'm 5'9 180lbs. I've ridden it on one 10 hour day ride and several around 200-300 mile rides. Backpack is a must though. Thanks for watching and stay safe, the roads are more dangerous today than ever.
I have 2017 Honda fury. I love it.
Now my harleys get stuck on my garage.
I just want to have 2 bike..
I Have this bike but in red. I've had it for 3 years now and love it. I got it used with Cobra pipes on it and it sounds great. Other than that I put a Corban King Queen seet on it and a sisssy bar bag. Awesome ride on long and shot hauls.
I got the cobra pipes too it sounds awesome!
Great man, enjoy and stay safe!
Thanks for making the video. Nice steed 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Thanks man glad you enjoyed, Fury's are awesome.
@@gatorunleashed275 I was looking at this Japanese fairing, ruclips.net/video/2fDHIpnknWw/видео.html
@@pleasejoe Oh I saw these, I love these but they are very expensive. I think the fairing was like 1200 bucks, or maybe that was for the bags also. They look awesome. Thanks for sharing.
@@gatorunleashed275 look on their site now, it's discounted to $600!
LOOKS ....???? SAVE YOUR FACE WITH A WINDSHIELD....IT'S GOING TO BE MUCH BETTER WITHOUT ALL THAT ROAD GRIME BLASTING INTO & ONTO YOUR HIDE....SAY "WINDSHIELD ", HELL YES!!!!
I know I am ressurecting this comment/thread, but, How many miles you got on your Fury?
Thanks for watching, I'm at 10K miles, between work, two straight extreme rainy summers and all the other insanity I've not been able to ride much at all.
@@gatorunleashed275Wow! Thanks for the reply!
Yeah, Im gettin one on a couple weeks.
I am a litetaral chopper guy. My bikes were all choppers. Including my dirt bikes (lol). I think I got a couple ride videos up on my channel.
But with arthritis settin in and the knowledge of old choppers spens as much time broke down on the side of the road as they do rolling down them, I need a reliable turn key bike. And the Fury is the only production bike that I have aestitcally liked.

@@PraiseCaster Awesome man, I bought a new 05 VTX1300R and put 22K miles on it and it's the same engine as the fury, good power plant. It's my 1st chopper style bike and I've been super impressed with it.
I got a 1300 VTX same motor 80,000 MI it has never had a repaired on other than tires and brake pads and battery nothing has ever broke it's never been to the shop
That's great to hear and some serious miles. I had an 05 VTX 1300 Retro I bought new, put 22k miles on it and no issues. Just great engines.
Is it better than a Sportster 1200??
Hey man your in my neck of the woods I just bought my first bike it’s a 19 fury bought it in June holler at me if you want to take a trip bud be careful
Awesome man congrats non the new ride and be safe. Work is keeping me grounded right now but I'm hoping for a good scenic ride soon.
Had over 30 bikes up to 1800cc. None have come close to my Fury. I don't want anything but a Fury from now on. Everything just meshes so well from torque, gear box etc. The reliability isn't even a mention because nothing ever goes wrong - ever
Man I couldn't agree more I've been riding mine a lot recently with this great weather. Be safe and thanks for watching.
Bought my 2010 brand new and still have it. I have over 30k miles on it. I just replaced the stator last month. Other then that zero issues.
The Honda windscreen is the only one that looks decent. Otherwise no speakers either. I had to eliminate the cannon headlight also. Scored a VN customs seat that is going on soon, at paint right now. And I have plans for that radiator. Nice bike.
I here in Tennessee you don’t have to wait at red lights on a bike, is this true?
Consider always being in the market. Nothing wrong with having more than one. Sell the one you find that you don’t ride. Repeat. If you apply yourself, all of your riding can be paid for this way. And nothing wrong with having 2 keepers either.
Very good advise, thanks!!!
Looks great! I have an 04 VTX 1300c. Pretty sure my next one will be a Fury.
I have a 2012 honda sabre wit that same block. You have the same problem I do I don't dare change a thing. Can't bring myself to sell it.
I got a 2013 honda fury. Great bike love it
Awesome man, I've rode mine to work all week and they are just great fun. Be safe.
God damn I want one. Maybe cafe racers aren't for me. I'm 6'5 and 350lbs annealing over on an old cb650 is great but good lord this bike fit like a glove.
Next time turn the phone horizontally. You know that right?
Thats a beautiful bike, I wish the gauge was on the tank, it would have looked cool.
Thanks man!
Great Video Thanks
shes beautiful,thanks.
Thank you Sir
Is it ok for a first bike? Beginner rider? W
Hard to say, I would recommend doing some serious research and if possible riding one before making a purchase. Regardless of what you buy.
Hey, take it easy Rebel 😉 !!
Just fire it up, its sleek and reliable , health to ride Mr.
Keep the Honda. If you buy a Harley the maintenance for it will by far cost you more than the bike cost. The Fury is an awesome machine. yours is beautiful.
Would it fit a 5’ 6” rider?
I would say yes but you also must test ride and make sure
I can’t justify the price of new either I got a used 2007 Honda Shadow Sabre VT 1100 with cobra exhaust I put floorboards,a new sissy bar & crash bars rebuilt the carbs & got new tires,it had 13,000 original miles when I got it gave $2800 for it,love my bike, sounds awesome, the guy I bought it from sold it to me so he could buy a Harley & bitches about how much it’s been in the shop I say well you use to own a Honda he says shut up I definitely don’t drink the Harley only kool aid I too get hell all the time for riding a Honda great bike mean sounding gets me where I want to go as a daily full time rider
I couldn't agree more about the prices, there are so many great, used, low mileage bikes out there that will serve anyone looking for the enjoyment of the wind in their face perfectly. Be safe and enjoy your awesome ride!!
@@gatorunleashed275 thanks for the reply ride safe out there with those “cagers “
No problem..always be careful riders..!!! I have a Yamaha Raider 08'...Harley's are NOT the sh*t. Honda Fury is a good, solid bike, looks good, good sound. I might buy one !!
Thanks man, I like the Raider awesome bikes. Stay safe!!!
Honda keeping the chopper look alive thumbs up not my kinda bike but love that engine I own a vtx retro chromed top to bottom white walls u must see this thing yes ppl stare
Awesome, I put 22K miles on an 2005 VTX Retro, loved it.
Just picked up a 2020 with a Corbin seat , it was New old stock, got it for 10k
Wow that's awesome man, I'm still enjoying mine they are just great bikes. Stay safe and enjoy and thanks for watching.
I would take any Japanese bike over any Harley-Davidson. Harley-Davidson is known best for selling clothes and things you don't need. Every Japanese brand is quality. You can't say that about Harley
Yeah they all pretty good these days it seems.
Nice looking bike...
Thanks man!!
Best bike I have ever owned
This will be my first bike once I get my M endorsement..
I have VTX 1300 R LOVE MY BIKE WOULDN'T TRAID FIR A HARDLEY EVER
Do you really get that bike for the mileage, though?
😂
Didn't expect a good ole boy to ride a metric cruiser. 😮
America today isn't the America I grew up in, that America is dead and gone. I love Japanese products.

Agreed,...if you are loyal to only one brand, you are really missing out on what motorcycling has to offer.
Each brand has its own charm, and brings something different to the table.
56 horsepower I know I own one
Very true
Totally agree I just cannot justify spending all that money on a motorcycle just can't
Yes Sir especially with the prices of everything currently, thanks for watching!!
Sold the FJR now time for the Fury @ 60
Hell yeah I turn 50 in December and I'm just getting started in this adventure called life. Be safe man and enjoy the Fury!

80hp? I think it’s under 60hp.
Yes it is around 56 I think I was thinking 80 cubic inches I never did know why I said that, these bikes aren't powerful at all. Thanks for watching.
Keep the bike, get rid of the wife, and wear a helmet.
57 hp 79 ft lbs of torque
