Review: Canon HF G10 HD camcorder

Here is a closer look at the Canon HF G10 camcorder. Really a great model, I like it.

Thanks for the video. Does the ring only act as a "focus" ring? Or can it be switched to use as a manual "zoom" ring? I have an hg 30 and an hg 50 that will allow for switching. But I don't see anywhere on this camera to be able to do this. Any insight would be most appreciated.

I sold this camcorder a long time ago, so I don't remember. Maybe there was an option in the menu somewhere?
