Unless I got the autograph myself I wouldn’t bother buying them. Thanks to an ex I missed out on meeting Bowie with my friend Gary. he met him outside a hotel in Canada. He got Bowie to sign his arm and was going to get it tattooed in the morning but It smudged, decades later on Facebook, Gary got talking to a fan from Canada and said he met him too outside same hotel and had footage! Turned out he had footage of Bowie signing his arm!!! The world became smaller! I’ve met a few stars, and worked for some but the biggest assholes who I’ve ever met were Morten Harkett of A-ha. I thought Brett Anderson was at first but eventually after filming for him he actually said hello to me
@@thats_flipping_retro I’ve got a whole lot more!!! 😂 I’ve had a couple of famous people stop at my house too, but I I think you know I don’t like talking about it ……. Much
I’ve also got the suit that was worn on the record sleeve of a massive hit single of a band that were stopped by Elaine Paige and Barbra Dixon getting to number one….. I won’t say who because I don’t like to talk about it….. much
Another great video. You are an excellent teacher. I do have a suggestion . . . whenever working with ephemera, please wear white cloth gloves. No matter how clean your hands are, you still have natural oils on your skin. If you should happen to touch your face or hair, then you will transfer those oils to the paper, which will, sooner or later, cause damage to the old, sometimes brittle item. Please do keep these wonderful, informative videos coming. I have learned so much from you. 😊❤
My Dad was at Sunday School with Julie Andrews!!!! That was his "CLAIM TO FAME" and acknowledged at his funeral 4 years ago 🥰 XXX 😘

What a small world! We collect autographs and love getting them signed in person. Not always possible though for obvious reasons.

It's wild that you can buy something so cheap and make so much off it
I know!
Morning!
Do you think a sealed bag with one malteser in it from a multipack might be worth something?
😂 definitely to the right buyer!
Nicest people I’ve met are Billy idol, Liam Gallagher (had a pint with him in Barcelona) and Gary Numan is an absolute diamond
It must hurt your back carrying around all these names you keep dropping lol.
