Saturninus physically assaulted/'intimidated' a foreign embassy, murdered a tribune elect, and murdered a consul-elect.

No one really knows what happened for sure when even the historians of that time have different versions of what they think took place. But considering that Caesar may have had to manipulate Pompeius to keep him in his camp until he was strong enough on his own to be more important than Pompey, definitely changes the Hollywood version of Caesar

Which Could've Boosted Their Popularity With The People....
