Sorry the music level is way higher than it's supposed to be. Something weird must have happened in the render -- I haven't encountered this bug in years.
I view the stripes as being like "8-bit" graphics, like they'd be pixelated like that on the "real world" train as either a some retro throw-back graphic, or as some 80's livery that was never updated. What I'm really trying to say is that it's awesome haha.
The way the ormage and red stripes were done with plates gives me a lot of nostalgia. Maybe the song too. Womderful build mate! Been loving the trains as of late.
Incredible custom build as always. Love to see you do the stuff you're passionate about. Can't wait for more city updates, I love the new simplified city layout. Keep up the amazing work.
I think I may be the only person on the planet who doesn't like Lego trains, but I really love what you have done here - especially with the brick-built colour stripes through it. I also like the angle you have put into the overhang of the pieces that go over the windscreen of the set. It's simple, but it is the kind of thing I don't think of at all when making my own vehicle MOCs.
Stunning build, Jang! Some really awesome part usage here: the mailbox, old castle wheels... But my favourite thing you've done here is the use of those transparent red bars inserted inside of the technic pins! Great stuff :)
I always love your train MOCs and this one doesn’t disappoint! I think the hybrid system is such a smart idea for the 9v motors that have become unusable. Nice way of recycling!! Btw 4 and 6 axel locomotives can be in the same series, such as the GE U30C and U36B, so I think it makes total sense for your locos to be in the same series as well.
I would have complained about the music but you already mentioned it. You’re my favourite train MOC builder because you build things with the best density to detail ratio. Forget reviewing Star Wars sets lol
Love this locomotive! Definitely a beautiful Southern Pacific heritage unit with the daylight paint scheme. If lego isn't going to give us some main line freight locomotives. At least you can make your own. Modern diesel is just so good! Fuel tank and radiator sections look great! Time for some lash ups!
Use of Droid arms and bars is such a cool technique. This isn't the first time I've seen it, but I've always liked it. And I love this train, you have a lot of great Locomotive MOCs.
Love this design. I will say the color scheme isn’t my favorite, but I always love seeing your unique part usages and this just blows with its design. Keep up the awesome train work!
Thats great, magnificent i would add! I can kind of see a hint of the old BQ locomotives the Seaboard System had, your trains are my favorite part of the city ad i always love seeing more!
Looks really cool and has inspired me to modify one of my own custom ones - is definitely a pain taking them apart to sort out the battery boxes for sure
Perhaps my favorite part of this build is the wheel NPU for the rear radiator fans. I've often shied away from trying to build my own custom train chassis specifically due to the issues you mention - I don't think enough love is given to the design of the prefab 6-wide train bases, with the (negative?) space underneath for rotation so bogies can go over curves (and the "walls" of the base hide the brightly colored plumbing), and their use of Technic pinholes for bogies so they don't fall off easily. They're basic, and the Technic holes present some limitations that even the official sets have to work around, but they do their intended job well IMO. Oh, actually audible background music!
1) I love how fantasy-esque this looks, it's like something from a video game. It's very clear that it's not supposed to be any specific real-life engine. 2) I read "train MOC - not based..." in the cut-off title and thought he was insulting the model for some reason.
Honestly it reminds me most of the ge bq23-7 locomotive but also a little bit of the ge genesis as well as the fortus from trainstation although I'm not sure why it mixed in. I'm not sure why it reminds me of that last one but it does.
Have you ever experimented with buffing out scratches on transparent Lego parts? I have parts like your windscreens but I'm not confident using modelling supplies on old transparent plastic.
Love the paint scheme! Have you per chance thought of custom decals for your own railroad lines? mostly for logos or names. Thought of an engine number for your new engine?
Ver cool moc and you could fool me of it could be a model of a real life one. Yeah would be interesting of what fx bricks will come up with, and what more they will expand on this area.

It's impressive, Jang, how you pulled together such a cool creation from a pile of parts and time. Must feel good to be done:)
The way the ormage and red stripes were done with plates gives me a lot of nostalgia.
Maybe the song too.
Womderful build mate! Been loving the trains as of late.
love the aesthetic of the orange and red dividing the black and grey
morning sunrise-esque
Incredible custom build as always. Love to see you do the stuff you're passionate about. Can't wait for more city updates, I love the new simplified city layout. Keep up the amazing work.
Looks like a GE BQ23-7, with a slight twist on it. Great work!
I saw that as well. BQ23-7 up front, with an SD70Ace at the back.
Love to see you building more Trains
Looks sick, tbh
Well done, Jang. The time and effort put in shows with the quality of detailing, and just looks awesome! 👍
I really like the hybrid design you employed. I had never seen that before, and it seems like a very clever and useful method

Looks great! And I love the concept of mixing the older 9V engines with the newer battery engines.
The hybrid power system is really smart.
Yeah I love these trains man!
Stunning build, Jang! Some really awesome part usage here: the mailbox, old castle wheels... But my favourite thing you've done here is the use of those transparent red bars inserted inside of the technic pins! Great stuff :)
Immediately took to calling this engine the Sunset in my head. Nice job.
Turned out great jang. Cart wheels at the rear worked well

Man this looks so amazing, you can really tell how much love you put into it. All that work has definitely payed off.
Looks Awesome! Well Done!
Getting so much nostalgia just from your voice, i remember watching your videos maybe 5-6years ago, also beautiful MOC
Nice train
Gorgeous build! Love the stripes
The front looks like a face, with the mouth underneath the clear studs nostrils. I can't unsee it.
I would have complained about the music but you already mentioned it. You’re my favourite train MOC builder because you build things with the best density to detail ratio. Forget reviewing Star Wars sets lol

incredible loco! lots so cool! also I think I like the white arow on the black and red 244

And I love this train, you have a lot of great Locomotive MOCs.
Can't wait to see this running on the new layout. Gonna look amazing.
There’s a lot of clever stuff here! Nice job!
Looks like a really good southern Pacific loco with the red, orange and black great loco
Looks very retro. Really like it.
What I think the volume level is awesome great build brother!!
Great idea to use the rail pickups to power the PF motor unit!
Hai jang i'like your new locomotive its so cool must be long to build a big locomotive like that
Love this design. I will say the color scheme isn’t my favorite, but I always love seeing your unique part usages and this just blows with its design. Keep up the awesome train work!
His building skill is ace 👍
Can't wait to see your trains running in the new layout.
Looks so good
Definitely the A-teams train
Looks pretty close to a family lines BQ23-7.
Thats great, magnificent i would add! I can kind of see a hint of the old BQ locomotives the Seaboard System had, your trains are my favorite part of the city ad i always love seeing more!
Slick clean design! Love it Jang!
Reminds me of an sd70ace with the notched nose and back portion with the radiators. also I love the livery you gave it
This one turned out very awsome, my compliments Jang. 👍👍👍
Looks really cool and has inspired me to modify one of my own custom ones - is definitely a pain taking them apart to sort out the battery boxes for sure
It looks so good!!! Kind of motivates me to try this.
Great detail. Love the build.
Excellent build.

Looks really good!
I love it especially the colors
Brilliant work as always 👍
I'm getting vibes from the GE BQ23-7, both in physical design and paintjob.
Looking so good sir
I love how you have to specify that it's not based off anything specific to try to get the ultra nerds off your back 😂
Keep it up dude! I especially liked the hybrid drive system.
Reminds me of the MLW M420, but also kinda has a mexican style paint scheme, took design cues from above and below the states at the same time, nice
Awesome! Very nice looking brick built! 💟
Another great build! 🤗
Honestly it reminds me most of the ge bq23-7 locomotive but also a little bit of the ge genesis as well as the fortus from trainstation although I'm not sure why it mixed in. I'm not sure why it reminds me of that last one but it does.
The A-team locomotive!
Excellent! !
Nice. Reminds me of Tron a little
It looks like a GE BQ23-7
Nice view, you have many ideas and the LEGO parts to make it contrary to me.
Did you see the new cargo Lego city train set for 2022
Looks like a BQ23-7 locomotive from the Family Lines System.
I like it great work.
Well, there's not much else to say about this new locomotive, except CHOOOO CHOOOO!!! 😉🚅
Have you ever experimented with buffing out scratches on transparent Lego parts? I have parts like your windscreens but I'm not confident using modelling supplies on old transparent plastic.
Not yet. I need to though.
Love the paint scheme! Have you per chance thought of custom decals for your own railroad lines? mostly for logos or names. Thought of an engine number for your new engine?
You should make a Canadian locomotive for fun
How’s progress on the new police station?
Honestly, this is awesome. One of the best train Mocs I’ve seen. Keep up the awesome work Jang!
Have you motorised the 3 axle train? I'm looking to make one and im still wondering how im going to power it.
Now that you mention it all I can see now is a angry pug.
At the back of the roof, how are those cheese slopes attached upside down?
Do you ever use box cars for the power? Trying to find a good way to do mine.
Ver cool moc and you could fool me of it could be a model of a real life one. Yeah would be interesting of what fx bricks will come up with, and what more they will expand on this area.
Oh yes oh yes oh yes
It had an angry eyebrows face ahaha
Looks like CSX 3003
🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃 Let's goooo
Traaaainz!!!!
Such a fugly piece of garbage....
.... I'm just kidding! :-) It's really nice. Well done!
